  1. To the point, I just want it over! This is like a splinter under a fingernail.
  2. I haven't eaten yet. Just in case, the election goes sour, the less in the belly, the less that comes out.
  3. WOW. That is............ That's something. Best of luck to your dad looking tomorrow. Hope he finds it.
  4. You can't take a sick day or personal day?
  5. I made jambalaya with spicy smoked sausage. Made it early so we could get out and vote and just heat it up.
  6. Well, dead people are voting, so why not let them run the polling locations? "The Polling Dead".
  7. This is why we should vote Republican, with the Dems in control we can't even afford stickers.
  8. I got mine on sale. Originally $169, I would have shipped them back at full price. I would say $100 is fair for a middle of the road quality blind. $150 and up, should be far better. Anything over $250 better make it through a hurricane. IMO.
  9. Man, my town must be on a budget. They had soup, but you had to buy it.
  10. We just got back, we didn't even get a sticker. WTF!
  11. Good answer! I take "Criminals" for $200 Alex! Think you just proved the polls are rigged. Thanks!!
  12. Nice. No cover scent in the world will keep that deer from winding you.
  13. Awesome. Glad it all worked out for you.
  14. Um, didn't you tell people to vote "often" in another thread? How many times do you plan to vote? Got some dead relatives we don't know about? You crack me up! Yep, I have a "main stream" many times a day. I always flush it. Starts to stink if you let it sit there.
  15. Hmmmm...What do you mean by "Often"? Must be a typo, you can't possibly be suggesting anyone vote more then once.
  16. Going as soon as the g/f gets home.
  17. Clothes are washed in Ivory soap, air dried, and put in a plastic tote. My 'scent' free soap is also Ivory soap. Other then that, I don't use anything else. No cover scent's anymore, no funky charcoal clothing.............. Just Ivory soap in a 3-pak from the Dollar General. Between myself and my clothes, I get about 30-50 washing for $4.
  18. Bought two this year, mainly to keep the g/f more concealed when she hunts. They are from "Best Choice Products", which for the money are not a best choice. For $100 bucks each you would expect a little more. If I remember, weight is around 5 lbs with out a seat. Haven't use them yet, some time this week I will get one out in the woods. I have to use them as a carry in out, not leaving them on public land. They have the typical "pin-holes" all over near the seams, camo patter is not ideal for this time of year, but setting them um up in some pines/firs ( as TF mentioned ) should allow me portable ground cover. I spayed them with a little UV killer, and today I spayed the one I am going to start using with Sawyers. It's airing out now. Which reminds me, they stink when you first get them, so make sure you air them out well. Mine are the pop up hub style, with some practice it takes about 5 to ten minutes to pop, stake, and set the extra chords for really windy days. No more noise then a climber IMO. The only downside is, you are on the ground, so you don't get the height advantage for seeing a little farther out.
  19. Most of the land I hunt is public land as well Elmo, so I am in the same boat. I have a couple hundred acres of private to hunt land in the NZ, the owners are my trail cams. They walk the property twice a day for exercise, and give me feed back. "Deer are moving from here to there evenings on the back side of the small swamp", "Nice 6pt sighted on the back ridge near creek A."...etc. I have permission to put out cams, but unless I completely stop seeing deer up there, I never will. Spike I passed last year is thought to be a pretty nice body size 4 this year. Hoping to get up there this weekend and get a blind up and leave it up.
  20. Heading home now. Single doe out around 60 yds. That's all I saw for deer. Squirrels drove me nuts, loud as all heck today. Sent from my XT830C using Tapatalk
