  1. Fry up some chicken, make some waffles, and go. If you want it really good, make some sausage gravy to go with the chicken and waffles! Good old southern comfort food right there.
  2. Bad topic title stone........... "Anyone A Member" Will look into what it is. Herd about things like this, they have them for food, beer, wine......You send a fee and they send you a mixed box of themed items.
  3. Good hearty meal. Old school food the g/f actually likes, so I make them often. If I could only get her to like homemade chicken and dumplings...
  4. I am waiting for Pygmy to chime in on this one growie. You, tub, soap......
  5. I dunno about only 2 shots, but having a follow up shot will be bang nice. LOL
  6. Any man who has tried to hold in ma nature after eating fast food/stew/chili.... the night before has done them.
  7. Homemade chicken pot pie. Sent from my XT830C using Tapatalk
  8. No, was sitting at the pc so just shot the pic over and resized it. Maybe I will try posting what I made for dinner with Tapatalk.
  9. Yeah, you are using a ML, image the possibilities from a center-fire.
  10. You asked for it . LOL The cool refreshing taste of budget beer at one of it's finest.
  11. I have some free time the next few days, trucks going in the shop. I am sooooooooooo making one of these based on my .25-06. LOL
  12. You keep dreaming LJC, you have no factual basis to keep arguing. I for one, am going to bed, maybe "snuggle with the g/f", go to sleep and then go hunting in the morning. Night everyone, good luck to all who head out in the morning!
  13. The trigger was was easy to see. The grip may not nave been. LOL
  14. Sorry to hear that TC. But, that makes sense. Good luck tomorrow, hope you get a bruiser.
  15. Pork chops with hot cumin+cracked black pepper+sea salt+paprika+tyme+basil+garlic powder, mashed potatoes, and broccoli in cheddar sauce.
  16. There you have it. Not trying to be a jerk, but you are probably focusing on the filming more then the hunt. Take a tep back and think about why you started hunting. Was it to be a star, or to be a great hunter? Remember, most of those hunting shows have a camera crew, and the hunts are filmed in guided areas. Just get back to basics, hunt to hunt, not to gain popularity.
  17. If I owned land, I would have a camp ( even a wall tent would do ) and get as much time as possible on that land. Even if it was 100 miles away. The private land I hunt used to be 30 minutes away, now it's an hour. You think I will not be hunting that this season now that the logging is done? I will hunt that area every chance I get, and will use that land to 'cut the teeth' teaching the g/f. I have state land close to me, about 6 places less then 30 minutes. I bet not one of the hunters in those areas give a rats backside if the crossbow has full inclusion. This just keeps going. I asked for facts about it "ruining" the bow season, nobody seems to have any. So.... Here's a thought, go hunting instead of debating. It's much more fun over all. At least to me. We will never control what regs the DEC passes, so why keep arguing? In fact! Just to toss a wrench in the works, I think I will take my M&P .22LR out tomorrow and hunt bushytails. Why? Because I have a license to hunt small game and I think I will use that privilege.
  18. I use both. I don't use Tapatalk much. I am not a huge fan of using my phone while hunting deer, or turkey. I will be starting to use a pop up blind more now, and will be using two of them when the g/f starts hitting the woods in the gun season. So getting some pics for the "Live From" thread might be easier.
  19. I am still not agreeing with you LJC, you say you have private land to hunt, but don't want too. Why, I have no clue. If inclusion bothers you so much, go hunt your own land instead of public land. My question was to those who are against it who own their own land, and only hunt their own land. What difference would it make if it was full inclusion? You have the say on who hunts your property.
  20. Thanks Jay. Much appreciated. Will give it a try in the morning.
  21. Trying to figure out to post pics from my phone to this site using Tapatalk. I don't have a Galaxy or an iPhone, just a cheapy smart phone by Motorola. Can't seem to locate how to add as an attachment. Also, my phone takes huge pics, the size is usually like 3500 px wide by 2400px high. Is that an issue? Any help would be appreciated.
  22. Sorry to hear that dbHunterNY, hope it heals up fast. As for this thread, I still say there are no facts about it being as bad as so many think it will be. It's opinionated fear. I asked a question in the other thread: If you hunt private land, why would full inclusion impact your area? This subject is getting as old and stale as the Clintons lies. Just sayin'.
  23. Sorry, still just your opinion. You have the stats for all the sporting goods shops in the USA to back this up? Yes they may be gaining popularity, but i doubt they will ever become such a huge factor that vert bows become obsolete.
