Just ordered two hub blinds. One for myself and one for the g/f. Might not be ideal to get them this late, but going to see what happens.

I have watched a few milling during midday while scouting in the woods ( mainly does with fawns, 1 fork horn ). Not in fields though. We must always remember, just when you think you have a deer or deer ( plural ) figured out, they will do something different. That's what makes them fun to hunt. The g/f started seeing them on her way home from work in the same spot every night for a week. We checked the area out, it's a public park with no hunting.

I don't know of any near you, sorry. Make sure you get a top notch contractor to do that project. It won't take much using the jacks to start cracking walls if not done right.

Put up a rope and hung my hunting clothes outside ( again ), gave a dose of Sawyers, and let them hang in the wind for about 6 hours. Left the tree seat ( that I found after moving ) out, and the camo burlap to get the smell of fresh air. Not sure what else to do at this point. Nothing for me really. Bow is shooting well and the guy shooting the bow is doing his part. Scouted two new areas the past couple months near me, feel I am ready. Everyone else set for Saturday? Any last minute things you need to do or want to do?

Last time I quit gum and mints didn't do anything. When the cravings hit, I just try to think about something else. It's been working for the most part. I think for hunting, I might have to get a big bag of gummy bears to chew on though.

Cravings are up and down. Hardest after I eat. Been 4 full days now, so the hard part is almost over. I think when I get a craving I will start doing push ups or crunches.

Your user name is growalot. So that would suggest you like to grow stuff, a lot. I do wonder at times with your spelling what you grow though. It can't all be blamed on the Kindle...LOL J/K grow. -
Bought the ammo where I bought the rifle, ammo was $49.99. The prices they have on some things are high, but others are not bad. I will still go there, not boycotting for inflated pricing. A guy my g/f works with goes to Maine once a month, so I had him grab me two boxes of Hornady American Whitetail 117gr InterLock from Cabelas, both boxes were only $46. Anyone who can pony up $20 bucks can have the Fusions.

Biz, why are you apologizing? We are already in the "General Chit Chat" area. LOL The g/f is hunting this year as well ( first year ), not until the gun season though. Going to try and get her left over DMP's for the areas I plan to take her hunting in. If she gets them, she will knock down the first doe she sees as well.

Eggplant stuffed with hot Italian sausage, onion, green peppers, our homemade sauce and mozzarella. I haven't had one yet, but, ate the rest of the g/f's she left on her plate. This was a nice change as I haven't made this in a few months.

Maybe not that bad, time will tell. But, if you knew they were bedding in that area, why would you even chance going near it? Not trying to be snarky, just curious. A 'bedding area' can be a 100 yard area ( or more ), they don't always sleep in the same spot each night like we do our beds.
