I had one on Saturday morning bummed from a neighbor, didn't even finish it. Was tempted yesterday as the g/f's dad smokes and they were here for dinner. But held out. The most temptation is waiting for Saturday morning. Every time I start to think about the bow opener I get butterflies and want a smoke.

I was in one area today to check for any new sign, and tomorrow I will check another. Then that's it until the season opens. New areas and not sure about the pressure from other hunters, but I am done until Saturday morning.

I will if I get the shot. First deer in range I have a tag for is going to the processor.

Not hijacking. That looks good. I did cauliflower, hungarian wax peppers, and tiny onions a few years ago. ( I have fresh garlic in everything I can ) It was good. We simmered the sauce more this year, so we only got 20 qts, 19 in the pic and one will be used tomorrow.

Yes. As I said, I have the CX WH in 50/60 and 55/70 and I can't tell a difference in flight or accuracy, shooting 55# draw weight. Only difference to me is the nocks are different colors on each.

I will hold off until at least Thursday for a somewhat accurate prediction.

Watching and hoping the Bengals whoop Denver. Bengals were my moms team so I tend to root for them unless they play the Bills. Hot wings with Daves, Hells Kitchen, and Devils Duel. These numb the lips and the heat lingers a while. I have to remember to wash my hands thoroughly before peeing on my fake scrape. LOL The g/f's parents are coming over for dinner so it's homemade mac & cheese.

I am a Mets fan. But, I don't watch baseball anymore really. I would rather watch the LPGA. You don't even have to be rooting for anyone. Cute women in short skirts reading the green is much more enjoyable.

My new bow started as a $400 investment. It quickly shot up to $700. But, As most know, that purchase had a lot of factors to the entire over all situation. One of them was yes, talking about the purchase with my g/f. If she had honestly asked me to wait, I would have. Not because I am 'whipped', but because we have a mutual respect. I am selling one of my snowboards and a few other items I don't need to offset the cost, and I agreed I would buy us a new bed this winter. I also quit smoking to save a few more bucks. Relationships are give and take.
