  1. You would see a lot of hunters throw this up - Look, heres the PETA site addy: http://www.peta.org Vlywaterman has to be the worst troll we have here. This thread is all he has and hasn't posted a comment anywhere else. Not everything is like "Alice In Wonderland", you follow the rabbit down the wrong hole you end up in the Clintons backyard.
  2. Might be a stretch, but does anyone here have one of these? $5k. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6n9GFPtQj3Q
  3. TF is a rifle owner now. Congrats. Good caliber and a lot of history with the rifle. Congrats.
  4. This thing stopped working about three years ago. Can't even remember why we moved it and didn't throw it out. Glad I didn't, makes a nice arrow holder.
  5. These are the only two I have. I had stopped hunting after around '92 for a while. The '99 tag..Guy I worked with wanted to go bear hunting, so I got back into it. Worst year I ever had hunting ( due to the morons I hunted with that year ), said I would never go out again. LOL Now, I have 4 years worth of new tags proving if it's in your blood, you can never deny it.
  6. Too many variables when putting up or using a stand to not wear a harness. Even a 3 foot fall can break bones or worse of you land on something.
  7. Dates and seasons: http://www.dec.ny.gov/outdoor/28605.html You can hunt anywhere you want in the state with your bow/muzzy tag and your regular season tag. DPM's are only valid in the WMU ( Wildlife Management Unit ) they are issued for.
  8. Look, I am doing what I have to do to get my bow hitting where I want it to with limited range. If you feel the need to be a shithead and degrade me for that then so be it.
  9. DirtTime

    Foot odor

Get a boot dryer. It helps a bit.
  10. https://huntingny.com/forums/topic/33907-1st-shot-daily-pics/?page=13#comment-497775 Think I am doing pretty well without it.
  11. Any one have any old tags before they gave us serial numbers? I just found two while cleaning out the old gun cabinet.
  12. You are a hypocrite! You started this thread, people went to war on it, defending how they feel and what they believe. Now you say you use lead ammo but won't any more? Not only are you a hypocrite, but you led people to believe you had valid point to make. You had an agenda, and you crapped on it yourself. Please, do yourself a favor. Let this thread fade away.
  13. So you just admitted to being a hypocrite! You started this thread, way to go. Here's a suggestion, just let this thread fade away.
  14. Dude. That's cool as hell! But, now you are married to that buck and can't chase does anymore.
  15. So, to answer my question, it really won't make a difference for practical hunting?
  16. Tried something tonight. Seared a small beef roast on the grill over heat, and then finished it low and slow on the no heat side. Baked potatoes and onions and peppers on the grill as well.
  17. But, for those with a level on their sight, do you look at it when drawing on a deer ( how do you have time? ). The sight on my bow has a level, haven't looked at it once. Shooting pretty well. So what would the 3rd axis do to make my shots or groups better. I am not trolling, just looking for why the 3rd axis would come into play for hunting.
  18. Dude! This thread was a joke. It was meant to get people laughing and joking. Take it easy.
  19. WOW. This was a joke thread. Here we go. Glad I'm not that guy anymore.
  20. Everyone is looking it up now.
  21. Anyone on here shoot them for hunting? Positives and negatives? For 3-D and target shooting I can see a place. Hunting, not so much. You already have windage and elevation, is rotation needed? This has been on my mind for a few years.
