HAHA I am 44 years old put 30,000 a year on & yes I off road & I am not the easiest on my rig. Have had them since I was 16years old but I do maintain them regularly some people have good luck with certain brands. My wife had great luck with Dodge vehicles

Wow keep my trucks / cars for as long as I can I have only owned one non GM product & that was a subaru beater Most my GM's have had close to or over 200,000 miles with no major issues but one transmission went on my 88 Chevy but was a plow truck before I owned it. My 2004 Chevy Avalanche is over 100,000 miles & going strong I bought last year with 70,000 on it. I probably have it 10 more years they are all good one day & crap the next if you maintain them properly they will take care of you except Dodge, Ford J/K

I have used them & liked them but if you use the S nocks check out ebay for the afterburn same design as the nocturnals but brighter & cheaper problem is I switched to the Easton axis & have to go back to the nocturnals as the afterburns are only made in the S nock
-
I loved the afterburn lighted nocks they are like the Nocturnals but brighter & cheaper but they only make them in S nocks now I am not sure what to get since the Axis uses X nocks

Welcome Bartman Good luck & the Hoyt Charger is a good bow

Thank You

Heat / cold can have affects on your bow / string. Mostly string cam bearings but would be extreme temp changes Never leave it in your car/truck on real hot/cold days or store it where moisture can get to it either

I believe each parcel of state land has its own set of rules the State land we hunt in 8N we were told by DEC nothing gets left behind that included trail cameras. Though I don't think it gets checked often same nice tree stands left year to year.

Bow Hunting - Do you prefer to use a ground blind or tree stand?
gfdeputy2 replied to jrussell's topic in Bow Hunting
you can be successful either way! I do not like heights so I hunt from the ground. I don't even use my blind much but you should practice a lot shooting using either. I agree with philoshop I can't sit for more then a couple hours. This is why I use either much but I have had great success still hunting with a bow good luck with either one you buy & good luck this year -
Never had great consistency with Cor Lokts best results for reasonable priced ammo (under $25 per box) has been with federal Fusions

hunting public land in 8N I really expected to run into some with all the hikers Mtn bikers ect... but all have been fine even congratulate us when we pass them dragging a deer out

OP states "As an employee, you are afforded a generous discount on gear" it does not state he can purchase for anyone else so this is what I am going by to me reselling it for profit or even using your discount for someone is not ethical. If the company does not have a problem with it then yes it would be ethical but I can only go by the way it was written by the OP Of, relating to, or dealing with ethics: an ethical treatise. 2. Being in accordance with the accepted principles of right and wrong that govern the conduct of a profession: an ethical act.
