I found THP when I was laid up, those other (hunting shows) could learn a lot from these guys..
-
Yes re-register every 5 years so king Cuomo can keep track of any new purchases .
-
I used 180 core-loks in my sons 30-30 and they performed well. I say buy both , don’t sweat the performance on deer as they will both harvest deer well and pick what every one groups better with your gun and hunt with em.

What brand are you looking at ?

Oh come on you know the answer , all of them ...

How do the reindeer do knowing your hunting their cousins before Christmas . Looks to be a great set up though ..
-
I’m a big Easton / Beman fan but never could get behind the deep six configuration .
-
Did you clean the blood and fat off the arrow first
-
I dont have a dog in this fight, but how in the hell does a arrow weight thread turn into a argument about this !
-
Early or late , for me it would always depend on the wind direction. Only other factor is rain, I will not bow hunt in the rain.

Anyone try the Bone Collector or Yellow Jacket target with broadheads

Rinehart 18-1 or rhino block , I have both and they are great, Mine have hundreds and hundreds of shots from a vertical bow but they will hold up to Xbow . They are a little expensive but they do last. -
Love love love odd racked bucks. Great looking mount congrats
-
Nope not unless you want to go to a fixed head if not shoot what you’ve got. With good shot placement you’ll probably be just fine ..
-
Do you happen to still have the Magnus heads ? If you do try them on the 340’s you may be surprised that they fly better on the stiffer shaft. You really should tune your new arrows, paper or walk back etc.

King Andy didn't like this..

Can I dream a little and hope and pray that ALL of NY are finally getting fed up with our king Cuomo and do I dare say maybe vote him out as governor. -
Ok so according to my pinwheel arrow app the 400’s are a bit weak of a spine for you’re bow and the 340’s are a little stiff of a spine. If it were me I would sight in the 340’s and hunt with them, one is always better to use a slightly stiffer shaft than weak spine shaft. Now if you draw 63 lbs easily and can go to 65 and switch to a 125 grain head that would put you in the high side of green for a optimum spine ( photo ) arrow for you’re bow. If you want to stay at 63 and 100 grain head then shoot them as they are and you’ll probably find they shoot and group well, plus quiet your bow down a bit as they are heavier.
-
Forgot to ask what’s you’re draw length ?
-
So what bow are you shooting and what are the length of your arrows ?
-
No the weight of a arrow is not the spine of the arrow, watch and read the link I posted and then post any questions you have after .
-
Typical Arrow spines range from 500 ( lightest spine) 400, 340, 300 to 250 (heaviest spine) . Here’s a link to explain how a spine of a arrow is determined https://www.archery360.com/2018/11/07/whats-arrow-spine/ So a higher spine arrow (lower number on arrow) will be heavier due to a thicker wall on the arrow.

Yes sir , I’ve killed a pile of deer with the old 870 and cooper solids.
-
I would have to look but I’m pretty sure I have some Remington copper solids for 12 gauge if you end up needing them.
