    Back when I was hunting with my 357 Blackhawk I was working up a starchy load for a 180 grain hard cast bullet. I started low and worked my way up to the max load that was 13.5 grains of 2400. I finally worked up to the 13.5 and shot 6 from my revolver and had sticky extraction from the cylinder, no flat primers observed , but I backed it down to 13.2 for my hunting load. So basically in nut shell one just has to be conscious of what effects his load has on the case, primer , gun etc.

    You did not mention the make of the projectile, myself I shoot Speer , Hornady and Swift so I buy their individual reloading books . I also shoot hard cast and extreme copper washed bullets and I use my Lyman book for that. You may want to pick the specific reloader manual for your bullet of choice. As others have said lots of variances between manuals so pick one and stick with it . Others have given solid advice already .

    Ok guys and girls I put in a 18 person reservation 4:00 this Saturday the 22nd so we are good, if we get more we can steal some chairs.. I also put in the notes it was for ny hunting group if they have a hostess to seat .

    I’ve been thinking about this for awhile and was wondering if anyone would be interested ? As some of you know I frequent tall pines atv park In Andover ny and it’s a Great place to ride. So was thinking about having it there as they do not require one to have their atv registered. Plus not really any good places to ride in ny either.

    Its amazing the amount of people that do not wipe the equipment down at all . Back on topic, really hard to say one will have to play it by ear. You guys may get a smoking deal though.

    Keep a eye on the ash trees, the ash borer Beatles are taking a toll on them. If you see large light brown patch’s on the trunks the Beatles have killed it.

    I have 4 and looking to get more. To me the outline is what was noticeable to me, the coloring was nothing. Just make sure you find a very very good tattooist, you have a couple great ideas and it would be a shame if they didn’t turn out well.

    My wife has the boot covers she wears a size 9 woman’s and she likes them, but yes something more to carry and she has to force her boots into them . I assume your on a metal stand, I would try insulating your boots from the stand, maybe carry a small rug welcome mat to put your feet on. One thing I do is I’ll put a hot hand under my hat on my head, really works well to keep the rest of the body warm.
