    Had a doe and fawn in my scope at 178 yards. I cocked the wolf back settled on the trigger and let them walk. They're safe for the year now. I hope.

    Well I should have killed one of the bucks I'm after this afternoon but unfortunately I pulled a terrible mistake and shot a branch that I didn't see right in front of him. Did not hit the deer what so ever which I'm glad about but come on. Aw well back at it Sunday maybe. I'll try to dig up a pic of him.

    I have 2 dogs and brought in a stray adult male cat. He will give them a good smack when they push it too far but they get along in general, even cuddle up by the fire together.

    You need a heavier arrow if you didn't get any penetration I'd say.

    Very sorry for your loss. Prayers are sent. Nothing can prepare someone for the loss of a parent. Especially when they also fill the role as best friend. I know the feeling.
