Big buck walking in, grab bow trying to clip cheap ass wal mart spare release and won't clip!! Finally does but clicks and he's on guard. He spooks out to the thick stiff and looks. Dead deer walking at 8 yards and he lives so upset.

Can't believe none yet. Other two saw spike and button. Hopes are still high.

Makes a shot with a bow much more difficult in my opinion not worth it

I've recovered 2 one lung hit bucks. One about 400 yards out and the other bedded closer. I lost blood on the long one and searched the thick stuff until I almost gave up but found him. Keep looking you'll get him.

Is it usually in fields or woods? We have a big golden rod field that I always assume is bedding where I find beds but am I missing out keying in on this area this morning of year? Should I focus on woods

I'll be good to go then as long as they don't throw a seagull into the mix. Those things keep me focused atleast.

Hey guys I'm newer to waterfowl and wondering: I hunted last year and some this year with friends who have there course. I want to take it so I can hunt alone or with others. I'm in buffalo area most of the time so does anyone know where I can find one? The dec site says no courses within 200 miles??

I could live with full inclusion though I prefer things the way they are. Lots of bickering going on all to say that an xbow is not nearly the same as a vertical bow in terms of hunting capabilities. Yes it has a string yes it shoots an arrow like projectile. Give a new guy an x bow and a compound or recurve it would be funny to watch the first shots with verticles (in most cases) and repetitive decent groups with no problems coming from Ann xbow. Yep that's a good thing if the only point is to have more proficient shots for people who aren't capable of proficient shots with vertical bows. They could be eventually and that to me is what archery season is. A time for those who are able to BOW hunt are in he woods doing so. With all that said there's plenty of argument either way and I do believe that we'll be seeing inclusion eventually. Doesent mean I will support it fully.
