    Last bow hunt til late season. I've passed a ton of deer this year seeking out one of the big ones, the last 2 hunts I've been ready to let one fly on almost anything and haven't seen one! Lol

    Hunting the morning tomorrow and all day Tuesday if needed. Have to burn a couple days off I just found out I won't be able to hunt gun opener which is a first for me and I'm pretty disappointed but gotta get it done somehow.

    I thought today was the day wind was perfect had the big buck come in 2 days in a row within the same hour, entry was no issue since I sat dark to dark, and nothing!!

    Again thanks for the advice guys. An update: after putting on the shorter belt to bypass the ac I have had no problems so far after about 800 miles of driving.

    Always in the dark during bow and sometimes I'll take a real slow walk during gun. I've taken deer with the gun and bow for that matter on the walk in but always easier to pull off a good shot with the gun when walking in.

    Lol my buddy was talking about all he does for scent and how every time he goes out gen ruins it all by taking a dump near the stand.

    Yup the deer we recovered yesterday that my buddy thought was back lung or liver was gut shot and walked away after a quick initial run.

    I saw 6 does and 2 bucks. My dad saw 2 bucks, the other saw 3 doe and 1 buck, which he missed.
