  1. I know a guy who shot himself in the foot at the kitchen table cleaning guns. Right through to the basement. Forget what caliber...might have been a 380. I do remember an idiot shooting when the range officer closed it for target swaps, etc. Boy you should have seen that guy gather his gun and go home. People were running after him. Running. Stupid.
  2. Probably fawns that have hit the necessary weight to breed/come into estrous. A small % of does are bred in late Dec/Jan. All it takes is one, however, to make things a little crazy, in the immediate area. Bucks are will to breed whenever. Sort of like normal guys, I guess.
  3. Its cheap for a black flash. Not the prettiest pics but itll do.

    Beer

Had Gumball head and it was good - but not as good as the Zombie Dust. I like amber ales so I am probably biased with Fat Tire, lol.

    Beer

Since I have been going back and forth to Indy for work, that place is one of the microbrew capitals right now. Got to drink a lot of Three Floyds Zombie Dust - I am not super into Pale Ales, but I was told by a co-worker to drive to every single establishment in Indy until I found it. Well, I found it in one spot, the only place within walking distance to the hotel I stay at. Let's just say I have drank a lot of it. Its hard to come by now in winter. I understand now why it is widely acclaimed to be one of the top beers in the world. It has 100 ratings on most all major rating sites and placed third in the GABF. Fat Tire doesn't have the acclaim, but been drinking that in Indy now. Pretty good for a go-to brew.
  6. If you want a 990i Gen 2 like your others posts. I know where you can get them for about $98 or so shipped.
  7. And if you are really interested, let me know and I can provide a 10 percent off code.
  8. Four cams arriving today - two sold - two available. Buy two, maybe I knock a few bucks off.
  9. Ha. I can't control too much of what I get when I get, but recently been getting the newer models. They have SMS Command capabilities for those daring to try. In all honesty that is a nice feature but most cell towers can't actually perform the command function so I suggest people not tech inclined to avoid that feature. The only legit command capabilities I have seen in the commercial cams (meaning not Buckeye) that work well is Spartan. Tough part with them is they send the LAST pic in a series rather than the first (big deal in my book), plus to get the value out of the cam, you need to use their paid service ($4 a mo) on top of the data plan itself. That's not even considering the cams are pretty expensive in the $400 range.
  10. I have newer updated models over the one you have. Just saying. One of the guys from this site has a handful of the ones you do and then one of the new ones. He likes the new one just a wee bit more now. Just saying, lol.
  11. Hi. Two cams available this week.
  12. A pioneer owner passed away a while back. The real driver is that an activist investor convinced themselves that they had a target for takeover and bought double-digit % of the stock - steering them toward a private sale (BPS) and a boatload of profits. Obviously the stock prices had to be prime for the investor to act, but this is truly the reason why. It gives perfect examples of why cash on hand for companies is a good thing to buyback stock to elevate the price when its artificially low for some reason and be able to prevent takeovers.
  13. WNYB covered the body. My answer would be, pass on the '14 and buy the '15. BTC5HD does a good job adjust up and down the spectrum for night images. It gets a little blur when moving deer are close up (like nearly all cams do), but otherwise it's a pretty solid cam. The cam did have night image issues early on that a firmware update fixed.
  14. So-So deal...it's not even the 2015 BTC5HD in the picture though.
  15. I have 7 total. They are most certainly good cams for the money - but don't confuse them with being great cams. I usually put them in "flyer" spots or spots where they are more in the open and subject to theft. If I have a safe place where I believe I'll get action, I certainly won't be putting them there...that'll be reserved for the better cams.
  16. PM me and I can fill you in on details.
  17. That was a benefit to the hunters who bought them. Moultrie marketed them full-force for security as a new ancillary type market, but it fell flat. They made a large lot order of them and when sales fell flat from the gate, they had to clear them. I got them as low as $30 each shipped at one point.
  18. The gray actually blends better in the woods in a fair number of circumstances (not all). There are a lot of gray barked trees where camo cams stand out like sore thumbs.
  19. These are just the ones I can scrounge up in my house. Good thing I can hide the rest in the woods from my wife.
  20. Pass on that cam. If you are trying to skimp, a few sellers have the Moultrie Trace on ebay for 60. That cam is a much better deal in every sense of the word and its still not that much. How many 300 dollar cams have you owned that have broken in a year or had stolen? Only ones 300 bucks commercially available are cell cams or Reconyx. Part of me thinks you might stretching the backstory a bit.
  21. Your cam is ready to rock. Ships Monday!
  22. Ignore the pic, just showing the new info strip on new cams.
  23. That one just got scooped up.
