    1/3 of our crew has covid and another 1/3 is at the Bills game. Kept it simple with wings, pigs, and meatballs. Of course little princess got some plain ones. Queso, guacamole, and salsa later.

    I don’t know who’s showing up tomorrow or what they’ll bring… but I know I’ll be grilling a few dozen wings. They’re about to go into the marinade.

    I don’t know if I’m happy or sad that my wife said a hind quarter steak was the best venison she’s ever had. Although it was 2-week-aged then marinated, grilled, and put in a taco!

    I grew up in a rifle area, and now use mostly bow or xbow. I don’t know if I’ve ever killed a deer with this, or if I ever will… but I keep it around just in case the situation arises.

    Sometimes you gotta have a Reuben with actual corned beef instead of venison. Lunch with the wife at Fox’s Deli didn’t disappoint.

    All good. Trying to prevent or at least delay vision loss in my important (dominant, shooting) eye. I scheduled surgery after hunting season, and it was the right move. I’d be out hunting deer if I could right now, and I definitely shouldn’t be.

    Had eye surgery on Mon… now I get a week off to deal with pain, headaches, and projects around the house.

    Real loveless is on my list to add to the collection… they are pricey and have a nude woman on them!!

    This is the real “Loveless” with etched blade and “Birdseye” rivets. I’ll have to do some digging to figure out the model and age of my new one.

    Just grabbed a new (old) schrade. I’m not sure which model it is. I have a Loveless so I know this is different, but similar. Blade is in perfect shape and handle is close, just some signs of age. Brass is a little tarnished from being stored in leather sheath. What is the best way to polish this? A quick google search came up with 3 different products (as well as toothpaste and ketchup)… but I figured I’d ask the experts.

    I downloaded Caesars app and threw out a few bets, but I’m sure I’ll get bored. I’ve got into sports betting a few times over the years and I always lost interest. It’s apparently the one thing that my addictive personality doesn’t take hold of. The app was kinda slow and shitty the first day too, which surprised me. My best bet was Herbert and Carr both over 1.5 passing TDs @+180. Made that game even more exciting. What a finish there by the way.

    Yea I think when they came out I would’ve had to make an extra trip to downtown Rochester and pay for it. I’ll stick with doing the bare minimum to maintain something I don’t really believe in.
