That’s what I thought... 8H is pretty Far East for a Muley. How old and why?
-
Experts... what are we looking at?
-
You’re probably right Biz... I just assume any buck dumb enough to be killed by me can’t be more than 2.5 years old.
-
I believe @The_Real_TCIIIis being facetious.

American Tactical Omni Maxx Hybrid AR

I heard the other 956,000 were accidentally dropped off of boats into Lake Ontario, which explains the high-water issues in recent years. -

Wouldn't a registered, grandfathered AR only be allowed 2 "evil" feautures? Otherwise it would have been illegal pre-SAFE act? Either way... registration = pre-confiscation. -
This was my second gun, I got it when I was like 8. I'd trust it on deer from 1-5 ft away. This one would be a different story:

It is illegal to take or hunt wildlife: with any semi-automatic firearm with a capacity to hold more than 6 rounds, EXCEPT the following semi-automatic firearms: firearms using .22 or .17 caliber rimfire ammunition, or firearms altered to reduce their capacity to no more than 6 shells at one time in the magazine and chamber combined, or autoloading pistols with a barrel length of less than eight inches. -

Yea... 5 rounds max if you are hunting takes no time at all. If you are at the range there's a very simple, fast and fun way to unload the mag. -
After all that steer corn poisoning, the venison is practically beef... so overcooking is fine.
-
As long as that guy eats the deer that he kills with the steer corn... I think I'm OK with all of it.
-
Correct. And deer corn is not a big enough issue for the state to actually solve it with legislation.
-
NY collects taxes on all the corn that is sold... they don't want sales to stop. This label rule is being thrown out there to avoid dealing with the issue.
-
You normally have coyotes around? Make sure you bring a gun with ya next time in case you get a chance to knock one down.
-
This is a phenomenon that can happen, but it is not a guarantee. It is more of an issue in winter when there may not be any other food sources around. In the Spring there should be other options, and deer tend to instinctively vary their diet when possible.

Rumor has it that @Pygmy has a long history with all of these women
-
Mowin beat me to it... In theory the bacteria in a deer's stomach would struggle to break down a large amount of new, unfamiliar food (massive pile of corn dropped in the middle of the deep woods). If a resident deer's digestive system is used to standing corn they would not encounter this issue. That being said... we all know how tough deer are. I have trouble believing that a deer capable of being shot and surviving would fall victim to "corn starvation", but hey ya never know.

ESPN: They “mutually agreed to part ways”. Yea, sure.

I stopped into SW in Henrietta to check out a few guns. They didn't have either gun I'm looking for in stock. The guy behind the counter said they "are still on the other FFL", so they basically get whatever guns are sent to them, and cannot order specific guns or receive guns that are ordered online until they get the new FFL. Seems odd, but I guess it is what it is.

O/U was 51 for the game... not the first half
-
@Biz-R-OWorldAre you OK buddy??
-
I could be wrong... but I think Iv only hunted 8H, 8M, 8N, and 5G. This season, and ever. Guess I need to broaden my horizons.
-
Also, Monroe County is usually there for pistol permit adds... so if the system is working, it makes buying a pistol a bit less of a hassle.
-
Its too crowded for me for the first few hours, so Ill go later in the day. I guess I dislike crowds more than I like deals.
-
Usually $8, I assume its the same this year. Its a good chance to see alot of guns. I guess you never know what you'll stumble on. I have a long list of guns that I want, and some are a bit obscure.
