I've seen many bucks in the month of Dec on LI. My best tip for you is to get out there and hunt. Try new things that you weren't willing to early in the season, you may be surprised at the results. in the end its all about time on stand.....cant kill them drinking beers in the wood shed ;-)

Saturday morning saw 10 does. This morning one doe and a small 5 point.

I made a terrible shot on a doe last night. Tracked her most of the day today and came up empty. I hate when this happens.

sat out on monday night and saw a lone doe and a really big beautiful fox. That deer is freakin enormous, regardless of where it was killed!!!

Im headed up to my farm in Schoharie this weekend. The apples are nearly breaking the branches of my trees from the weight!! Cant wait to hunt in some cool weather and retire my camo banana hammock!!

I got out for the first time last night and decided to pass on a few does. Nice to be out again!

Not exactly live but I got out last night for the first time this year in Suffolk County and passed on 2 mature does with 2 fawns.

Thats definately ground blind country out there! Never hunted it but have driven around there a lot in the past and always see deer. Its like hunting on a beach lol.
