    Like Virgil says, there are certain types you should stay away from like Mergansers because of the high mercury content in the meat. Besides that they just taste awful. I have heard of guys grinding up divers and making sauage out of them. Puddle ducks like mallards, blacks and widgeon taste great! Never had a bad tasting duck of this type.

    Well I own this gun and love it. No issues what so ever. The trigger is not as bad as some people claim but like anything else you get used to it. I've owned this gun for about 6 years now.

    The guy actually messed up the math! Its 2 inches smaller! Damn! Oh Well still pope. Gross 137 3/8 netted 131 7/8. My best deer ever.

    Thanks again guys! I got the deer scored yesterday and he grossed 139 3/8" and netted 133 7/8" P&Y.

    I got my 2012 buck back already and couldn't be happier! Eastern taxidermy in Farmingville, L.I. did the work. I am waiting on a P&Y measurer to score the deer first before he goes in his permanent spot.

    I got a stoeger 3500 last year and love it. You cant beat the price. No problems with the gun.
