Trump - Clinton Debate

I do wish trump has pointed out that hillary just blamed him for an increase in bullying at schools. -

That's some pretty desperate fact checking. I don't think anybody actually believed he literally believes a chemical was used any more than "bleach" is used by bleachbit. -
Trump - Clinton Debate
Core replied to fasteddie's topic in Gun and Hunting Laws and Politics Discussions
Anybody else notice the fly that landed on her twice? Lol Anyway I was wrong on this debate. Thought trump would get obliterated again but he didn't. Tougher debate for sure. The worst piece of moderation of the night by far was when Martha (?) started debating with trump why the military gives early warning. I suspect after she said it she realized how inappropriate it was. -

He is doing far better than two weeks ago. Far better. I think he may have been on drugs last time. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -

Well it seems he took his nodoze tonight. He is going on the offensive big time. He may overstep if he doesn't watch it. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -

Good idea, at least half of it. When the republicans lose this because they nominated a circus clown I do plan on unregistering as republican. I refuse to be formally associated with such a worthless party. I thought the loss in 2012 was weak, but this they've really outdone themselves. If the party cannot even beat clinton it should be dissolved. Any party that would put up a guy so profoundly incapable as trump has been has no purpose or relevance in the world's strongest nation.

Growalot, what you are failing to realize is that the election was lost when trump was nominated. That is when the election was lost. It was obvious to the bulk of America that he couldn't be president. He would never close the deal. This is why those of us paying attention didn't vote for him in the first place. It is too bad it has taken the rest of the Republican Party this long to catch up. I take little joy in pointing it out to forum users. I just wish they had paid more attention during the primaries and not been bamboozled like an easy mark walking into a used car dealership. Don't blame me. I am not voting for Hillary, simply commenting on what the rest of the country is doing. On the slim to none chance trump loses I will post a thread reminding people how wrong I was and take all the face pies you can throw.

Mostly true, though he had to own up to it because there was no way around it. In the past he has regularly lied to cover his ass (silliest one perhaps being the story of John Miller, a made up publicist who was in fact Trump). Nonetheless, the impact of this is going to be substantial. Surely you guys can appreciate how horrendous it is if even on fox, a month out from the general, their headline story is Trump, Pence vow to fight on together after emergence of damaging tape. , this in the wake of public statements by both his running mate and his wife about how terrible his behavior is. Please don't shoot the messenger. RNC has now cut off Trump. They've officially given up on him. http://www.politicususa.com/2016/10/08/republican-party-cuts-trumps-cash-leaves-nominee-wither-die.html Reince Priebus has directed the RNC to cut off all cash and support to Donald Trump and direct resources to down ballot candidates. I do wonder what took them so long. There is still an almost 50% chance the republicans don't lose the senate, and with hillary's inevitable win, at least it would be good to keep both chambers. Trump is a completely lost cause at this point and resources are better directed at down ballot.

Don't trust in Hillary. She is not trustworthy, she is corrupt and power hungry and a bad person to run the country. I plan on never voting for her. It's just too bad that one of approximately 5-10 people in the entire country who couldn't beat her in an election happen to be actually the nominee responsible for that job. I still hope trump wins so that she doesn't because I expect he would be kicked out of the white house in very short order. Dems from day one would call for his impeachment and it wouldn't take long for republicans to do the same. Then we get pence who I think would be just fine.

It doesn't matter now, it's too late for him. The clinton stuff is far enough in the past most people just don't care anymore. New news is more important than old. People are not used to trump in this way because they never paid much attention. The dems always nitpick because they are morally bankrupt, but a lot of them vote.

Guys know this, but only because guys have been in the locker room saying it. Women don't; they don't want to realize how bad some guys can be. And trying to teach them real-time isn't going to soften the blow of this to trump's campaign Trump: "Yes, I said it, buy ladies chances are your boyfriends and husbands have been just as bad" Lady: "Hey, honey would you ever say that about women?" Guy: "Oh, of course not, dear! Trump is terrible! Can't believe he would be so awful" There are definitely crocodile tears, but the damage is done nonetheless. Honesty is not necessary in politics for a story to hurt and this one is going to.
-
Except other guys are not being caught for this and it is playing extremely well into the narrative of him holding women in low regard, whether that is true or not. Anyway, I don't think he's a crap candidate because of these comments. I think he's a crap candidate because of everything else, but these are clearly not helping and the polls are going to reflect this shortly.

I don't think anyone is pretending that. I'm positive I've said thing as awful (grabbing comment--never have tried to cheat on my wife or sleep with a married person). I have no idea about who; sometimes my brother and I say increasingly terrible things just for the heck of it. It means nothing, it represents very little about us (I think?). But, we're pretty careful that there is no other audience because out of context it's bad. Trump obviously was not careful enough. But it's not only what he said, it's that the media will make a complete circus out of it, and he put himself in that situation--one I might add that most other politicians seem somehow to avoid putting themselves into. It's just another thing onto the pile of the mistakes he's made. In this case he could argue he was overheard, but he was not overheard inadvertently when last week he told people to check out somebody's sex tape. That was deliberate and stupid, not a mistake and stupid.

She already came out with a statement today condemning what he said. Remember the last time a president's spouse released a little admonition of their spouse's behavior during a general election? Me, neither. Unless he does well in the debate tomorrow--I mean really well--and based on his last performance I think he is patently incapable of performing well during a debate, we will see a further erosion this week in the polls.

Deer cart: Muddy Mule or Hawk Crawler
Core replied to Core's topic in Hunting Gear Reviews and Gear Discussions
Thanks, rac. I have to be honest I'm thinking of cancelling my hunt tomorrow morning because that sherpa cart looks absolutely spectacular to me and I refuse to again hunt my favorite spot without a cart, ever, under any conditions! I can't get the sherpa except through the mail. It weighs 10 lbs, it even would let me roll my climber in. They say max weight limit 250 (have tested much higher), which is as big a buck as I'll ever take I'm sure. Just seems like such a damn good idea to roll everything in and this takes up no space. If I adopt the idea that I'll just cart everything in and not even leave the cart in the car, weight no longer matters when hunting. Pics of it here: http://sherpahunting.com/gallery.html -
Deer cart: Muddy Mule or Hawk Crawler
Core replied to Core's topic in Hunting Gear Reviews and Gear Discussions
Learned about something called the sherpa cart. Turns a climber into a cart, but nowhere locally sells them. No cabelas in rochester. sherpahunting.com I decided against the muddy because it is too narrow! The cart is only 16" wide cargo bed. A good sized deer's chest is more than that I believe and the last thing I need is it rubbing the wheels. I bought the crawler but haven't set it up yet. 45 lbs is a lot. Also, though the wheels claim to be flat proof with polyurethane, still....so I bought a $99 "gander mountain" brand cart. It's only about 20 lbs and 350 capacity. It seems decent but its handle is too short really. Also will need to replace all washers with nylon if I want it quiet around the wheels. Haven't decided if will keep. Probably will I guess, but the hawk really seems like decent quality. Found some thread on archerytalk and a couple guys there liked it. -
Um. Holy @*#&. It sounds like PENCE, who is on Trump's ticket backed out of an event. At what point will the truly hillary hating crowded realize Trump is costing them the election (I knew it many months ago)? He cannot be kicked out now, but if he withdraws perhaps pence can pick it up and I guarantee you many people would jump on Pence. http://www.politico.com/story/2016/10/politico-breaking-news-pence-reverses-no-longer-attending-event-with-paul-ryan-229351

Most guys on the planet have said incredibly awful things when they were in "private". So what he said doesn't really shock me. But, unfortunately for him it was recorded. And that is the difference. Trump's campaign was effectively over the evening of September 26th when he conducted the worst debate performance in modern history, if not ever. And I am not even exagerating my view of that; it was worse than the one decades back with the guy who's face was melting. So with a campaign falling off the cliff and another likely-to-be-bad debate coming up on Sunday we get this news. And of course it is no revelation. Somebody had this and released it to supercede the fact that finally some of hillary's speeches are out. But, Trump can't afford this. He already has a tough time with women and this looks very, very bad. If Trump actually cared about America he would immediately leave this election. But in his own words he's never backed down. He is too prideful, too stubborn. He won't lose, and hillary will be president. I promise you, believe me. My wife is arguing fervently to vote for Hillary as an anti-trump. I've told her I will never vote for hillary. My wife and I both voted for cruz in the primary. Trump is so bad he's turned a cruz voter toward hillary. I plan on staying home or marking off mickey mouse on the ballot if we have that option in new york. Trump should never have been nominated. You people who helped nominate him should have seen this coming. I did. Everyone else who didn't vote for him did, too. Why couldn't you see it coming? Why did you think he would learn? Why did you think he would not lead a pitiful campaign, as he has, and implode, as he is doing? Hillary's ascension is your fault. Will you atone for it and how? Will you blame the mainstream media when trump is obliterated a month from now?

Ratings Plummet !
Core replied to fasteddie's topic in Gun and Hunting Laws and Politics Discussions
One could be equally aware but I am positive the average american is far more aware of sports stats than political policy or who is even running their country. I promise you more people can tell you who colin whats his face is than who john kerry is. I absolutely guarantee it. And yet many of these people think they should vote. And they will. And that's why we have hillary vs trump now, because of people like that.
