More deer with the bow this year, preferably all three would be great. I would like to get my first public land deer as well, but I also have a few more private spots to explore. Last year was the first year I never hunted from the same tree twice and I really enjoy scouting new spots and setting up on hot sign.

I second that, great target. All bag targets blow out in a season or two for me,this one is lasting longer even though I shot a fair number of broadheads into it while dialing them in.

They want us to start wearing masks again???

Hey hey, don't mix up these issues, they are clearly something entirely different... -
If you think fox is not biased you can't be helped. It just so happens you like their view so it's ok. Anyone can watch any news but I would hope they can draw their own conclusions and make up their own mind. Facts are facts and interpretation of those is subjective.

Man,these cool misty mornings sure feel like fall is in the air. Why is it that the last two months are so much harder to get through then the first 6?
-
This is funny,it would be any of those but Fox for me.

I gun hunt only with a muzzleloader..And I see your problem with the sabot less bullets..I tried that once and it was ridiculous where the gun threw those. All over the place. I gave them away. And you guys can take over a topic anytime,I even enjoy reading pygmys posts which isn't always the case. Back to the roots! -

That is a horrible group. What muzzleloader are you shooting? Mine loved cheap bullets and groups amazing at 100 yds. I tried expensive ones once, they were all over the place. -
A high gpi arrow makes it hard to get high foc because of the weight of the shaft. You would be better off putting the weight in the head or the insert. At your DL I doubt you really have to up the draw weight, you are in a much better position than folks with t-rex arms.Have you looked into day six arrows? They seem like a good company and can build the whole arrow broadhead combo for you.

easy tracking job too.

I usually try to understand people's point of view but I find I am much less inclined to do so anymore. What's the point really?
-
I don't enjoy hearing myself talk as much as some. That is all these discussions accomplish. You know where I stand, I know where you stand and that's about it. It seems there isn't even enough room for two people on the middle ground anymore.
-
You will have to make sure they are razor sharp, any broadhead should be,but I am sure you know a thing or two about sharpening knives.
-
Nah,I leave you guys to the scholarly discussions. It is not worth my time.
-
thanks for clearing that up,now I know for sure where to group your posts.

So because a black man supports the blm movement he is completely discredited in your mind? Does that mean because you support Trump you also supported the capital rioters and I should categorically discredit everything you believe?

I think it should all match, though the least important would be the rotation of the bareshaft I think because that is the easiest to overcome. The bevel of the blade doesn't really make the arrow spin much in my opinion until it hits the target and I suppose you would loose some energy if the blade bevel and arrow rotation are opposite. I don't think it is much energy loss because the arrow rotation induced by the fletch will stop as soon as you hit your target. Then the bevel of the blade cutting will make the arrow rotate.

Oh for sure on sharpening. I will keep those forever if I dont bend them

I had some grizzlystick samurai last year, but they were 125 gr and vented. I thought they whistled some in flight because of the vents. I went to 200 gr solid ones this year. I went with cutthroat since they are one piece and a tough steel.
-
I went to single bevel two blade heads. That is where it is at for me.
-
Yes,I was going to dry them but read that it's not the best treatment for chantrelles.
-
Chantrelles are growing like mad in Central NY. We had a big meal with 3 friends Sunday night and tonight I grabbed about 6 pounds of chantrelles from near our house. We will have to freeze some....pics later Or now, haha.
