That's exactly it I would bet that dog got tangled up in something or I hate to say it the women did it herself and wanted to blame a hunter. I can't imagine someone doing that to their own dog to try and fry someone or try to push hunters out of a town controlled area but the Anti's go to some extreme measures.

Pulled my s/d cards and 95% of movement is st night
chas0218 replied to rob-c's topic in Bow Hunting
I used to have early morning and late evening photos but lately all at night. This heat has got to go! A friend of mine on the neighboring property shot a nice 3.5 year old last week in the warm temps he had a pretty nice neck on him but there are a few bigger ones running around. -
Does the super glue expand like the other gorilla glue?
-
True and if you look at my posts I pulled it right off the owners facebook page. Not saying she didn't make it up or know what actually happen but you can see what she is claiming.

I used to use the G5 blue glue but I only fletch arrows once in a while so lately I have just used whatever super glue we have in the drawer. Usually the loctite stuff with the squeezable jug thing.

Found her on facebook, she took down the photos but wrote this. Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk

Looking at it again it looks photoshopped the flesh wouldn't be that dark and it would show a lot more of the membrane on top of the muscle where its located. Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk

Way to high to center punch it. Straight up the back of the front leg lower 1/3 of the cavity is the sweet spot. Where I aim all depends on where the deer is in reference to me and my stand. I visualize where the arrow will exit and make sure it passes through the vitals in that manner. These pictures are less than tasteful but I shot the deer just in front of the rear left hip (as you facing the deer from the rear) and exited out behind the front right shoulder. I hit the artery running down the back, the liver and right lung. Deer went 30 yards and piled. The wounds were not touched by any knife just the hid stripped back to see the effect of the broadhead. This was with my little 1" cutting 75 gr. head.

"Assault" Weapon Bust

WTF?!?! Really that desperate? -
Looks like a door going between the 2 rooms if you look to the right of the "m" in room. He might have had both rooms but still don't think there were 2 people based on the videos.

If they were in pieces he can't be charged. There is nothing illegal about owning collapsible stocks, pistol grips, front grips, any of it unless it is completely assembled and operable. -
Do You Support Crossbow Full Inclusion into the NY Archery Season?

Enough to where a doctor would need to sign off on it. No different than someone being able to use a firing device that holds the bow back for them. -
Anti trying to give hunters a bad rep. as always.

Something like this I have absolutely no problem with, this is a long overdue. -
That's the thing we don't know how or why people find the need to do this. Until we can figure that part out there is no preventing it unless we law abiding citizens carry concealed and protect ourselves and family. Unfortunately I don't think anyone with a CC permit would have stopped this guy short of going into his hotel room and laying him out. A report I read said he shot a security office through the door of his room when they came up. To the reason of the videos sounding like 2 shooters is because of him switching from window to window, the room he booked was a corner suite and broke out both windows. You can plainly hear the gun fire stop then start again as he walked from window to window. My only thought was why did he kill himself instead of trying to kill more people until the LEOs shot and killed him.

I'd make the switch if I had to. We going to be allowed sights and peep or instinct shooting only? -
If I saw something remotely close to that in my woods I would probably have a heart attack and fall out the tree.

There is a fence in the background guys.....

They already have the "airbow" or whatever it's called that uses compressed air to propel the arrow. The argument for that will be it propels an arrow and is named the "airbow" so it's just like the crossbow we already use. I think that we should start to push to use the airbow during crossbow season I mean why not it uses an arrow. Who's with me? There has to be some gun hunters out there that would like to use this instead of that Clunky hard to use crossbow. http://www.crosman.com/airbow -
But bring a compass and know how to use it before venturing into the woods. First off welcome there are a lot guys here that will be able to offer some help. Youtube is great if you watch a quality video some people don't have a clue and make videos of doing stuff either wrong or more difficult. You should be able to draw your own conclusions from watching multiple videos. Sounds like you're on the right track with lots of practice shooting. The good news about the license is that they all expire after 1 year you just have to go Walmart or local license distributor and get a new one. Turkey hunting can be difficult be sure to wear some orange going to and from your hunting spot it will also be bow season for deer. I wouldn't wear it while sitting but in and out of the woods wouldn't be a bad idea. Get a good compass and learn how to use it especially if you don't know the area. Look up the hunting area on the DEC interactive site and look at the terrain to have some idea of boundaries and if you get turned around. Field dressing turkey is fairly easy I prefer to skin them instead of plucking it is a lot easier and less feathers flying and sticking to everything not to mention no pin feathers to deal with. Skinning turkey: Plucking turkey: Lots of good info on here just give it a search.

HERE COMES THE GUN LAWS

Basically all he was doing was spray and pray. Not hard to hit the side of the barn when you're standing 10' from it. -
Only changing because I currently shoot ultimate steel rocket 3 blades in 75gr. and my supply is abbot gone and they don't make them anymore. I would love to stay with these I have killed a lot of deer with them. I have a bunch of blades but almost out of furrels. Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk

I have never had an issue with my bow tuned and my BHs flying exactly the same as the Field points.

I'm shooting a 26.5" arrow at 62lbs. draw. with a 318gr. arrow I was chronographed at 300 fps. If you do the math estimating 15fps drop based on the 75 gr. of added arrow weight it is right around 71 ft.lbs. of kinetic energy. That is a giant hole, My little 3 blades would never make a hole near that although I had a hole almost 2" wide with a hard quartering away shot. My arrows aren't remotely close to that weight and don't plan to go that heavy, hopefully they will still work for me. Are the 3 blade legal in NY? I have heard good things about the grim reapers, I was going to go with the QAD Exodus and still might if these don't work out. My buddy said he will buy them off me if I don't like them. I got a killer deal on a set of 24 rages for $25 no box. Good to hear, I have heard a lot of horror stories about Rage BHs not sure if it is because so many use them or just because they don't work. I have a few friends that bowhunt and rage is all they use. They too have used them for years and haven't had any complaints.
