  1. I have been reading good reviews on the mpe6. What kind of problems have you had? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. Anyone have a photo of the back of one? Curious is it will take a python cable lock. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Oooooohhhhhhhh. Aaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhh. So exciting! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. Doesn't sound like the best friendship. Obviously you put a lot more time in but what about a nice sit down talk and work with him and help him on his hunting? He is obviously frustrated that you have killed some big bucks in the last 3 years while he hasn't. Sounds like you need to communicate and work with him. Great friends are made and lost over a whitetail. Don't ruin a good friendship over jealousy and killing a deer. Much more to life! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. I got the stand all set and sat there for a good 10 minute and wow did it feel good. Just peaceful and no pressure. I'm going to try and make this season nice and peaceful. "No stress 2017" Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. I let some deer walk last season. I let some younger bucks walk and I let a few does walk. But I always let a bounding and running and stopping doe go around the first week or 2 of November. But I usually try to shot what's following her. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. Got out this morning at it was about 45 degrees. We hit a low last night of 38 degrees. Perfect morning. Even got a nice view on the way to the property. This def made it feel close this morning and now the extreme itch is there. Can't wait! A lot of doe activity in this area all summer and very few bucks. But they will be there if the does are there. It's a great bedding property and very very thick. It's a little open in the area and there are some small trees so that's the best spot I could find to get set up in.
  8. I had picked up 3 of these since the price wasn't bad at $40 each plus a good name brand. 2 of the 3 are pretty much junk. One has a bad sensor and the other has a problem with the batteries. The 3rd is descent and seems to be working pretty well. I know you get what you pay for but the bad sensor one was in the woods for a week and then bad battery one never made it to the woods. Don't waste your money on these. Much better cams can be found in the $40-50 range. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. I just scored a Spypoint Force 10 off Jet.com for $57. I know the reviews are mixed and the night time photos are not the Best Buy for that price I couldn't pass it up. That's shipping and everything. They gave me a $10 credit because I complained the price jumped from $74 to $84. Then it went back to $74 today, I used the first time buyer 15% off and bam. $57 shipped to the door. I will do a review later when I get it if anyone is interested. I was going to buy the Browning Strike Force but it would of cost me about $92. Couldn't pass up the $57 deal. Head on over if interested. Send an email complaining and they may give ya the $10 credit. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. NY is great for the overall diversity of the outdoors and so is New England. But terrible for specific things. Plus the taxes are insane and home prices are insane and the state govt simply makes it so hard to live here. If NY separated from NYC and their mindset then this would be the best place to live. I'm retiring and moving to Ohio. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. Shots 1,2,3 at 25 yards. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. I live about an hour or so south of that area. Sounds like fun. Although I'm not sure about a few days in remote territory with a stranger who I met online..... Sounds like a set up for a horror film. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. Don't feel bad. I'm in the same boat. I had a ton of bucks last summer all over the place. This year they seem to of disappeared. I had them on camera in early June then the corn came up and they vanished. Tons of tracks around the corn and not much in the timber right now. It's a food source thing. They will be back when the food sources are harvested and fall comes. I should put a camera on the field/corn edge. They will be there. Be patient. I know it's discouraging and frustrating. Only good thing for me is that the 2 big boys I had on camera I have already gotten again this year early on so I know they are still alive and in the area. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. Nothing ever out here in Eastern NY it seems. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  15. Please let me know. I'm interested. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  16. Looks awesome. Since custom work that would be awesome with someone's harvest photo or favorite hunting photo. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  17. Awesome buck!!! What camera is that? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  18. Either a divorce or his wife hacked his account and is posting for him. Good luck selling. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  19. Same as "upstate". Upstate is the northeast part of the state. Saratoga area and north to the border. Buffalo and Rochester are not upstate. Neither is Poughkeepsie. I'm in the Lake George region so to me Western NY is West side of finger lakes, central is Syracuse area, finger lakes is finger lakes, southern is the city, capital district is Albany and Upstate is the Adk Park area. 20. It's the same reason I went to the trapping class last September and I have the certificate in my pocket but have never trapped or even got the license. Not many people out there willing to teach anymore how to do this stuff. Nowadays if you don't grow up doing something then you likely will never do it. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  21. I don't hunt them because I have no idea how to take care of the pelts, the pelts aren't worth anything either and you can't eat the meat. That's a triple whammie. I've never tried hunting then but it may be fun. Also I deer hunt and that is my main season. Then it's too cold and I'm too burned out from deer hunting to care come January and February. 23. This is like 1/2 mile away. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  24. This recent attack is like 1/2 a mile from where I have some land to hunt. I have some big coyotes on camera in the area too. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  25. Aliens!!! Stay out of those woods!! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
