We've got wireless internet through ATT which is like a hotspot and wireless router for the house. It came with a free phone number and a port to hook up cordless phones. So after over 10 years of being cell only, we bought a set of three cordless phones. Hooked up about a year and a half ago. We've never used them. Still stay with the cell phones for primary (or only) use. What's funny is in the first hour we had a call. We hadn't even told anyone of the phone number. You guessed it, telemarketer selling car warranties.

I've gotta say, this thread will make some good conversation for you guys. Wish I was going!

Look I get it, safety first. But if he's in control of his gun, he's in control of it. And when you poke a bear so many times, you have to figure the bear is at least going to snap at you. Especially after so many pages of poking. And for the record, I've met a number of guys on this forum, and I'll count them as among the finest folks I've met. I think you're way off if you think you're going to get jumped or shot or some other nonsense. Lighten up and make some new friends.

Same situation here. My wife and I basically reversed the withholding change last February and got about $1200 extra overall with this year's returns.

Received one for a gift last year. It's the taller one which has some fairly nice and rich sound. We have SiriusXM in the cars and pay a few extra bucks per month for the online access. The Echo has become our default Sirius device in the house. Also use it for an hour or two of Buffalo Bills pregame audio from WGR on football Sundays (I'm out of area and can't pick it up on the radio). Post game when they win, so not so much - lol. We got over that "always listening" phobia fairly quickly. You can check on an app what it heard when it was activated. Haven't seen anything weird.

I took the time to build this a few years ago. 6x6 posts, concrete anchored. It was well worth the effort. Rock solid and fairly weather tight. Its really suitable for gun only but it has really turned out to be a must-hunt stand early to mid gun season. I've been hanging on to four more 6x6's since I built that one. Need to get those things in the ground and build another one.

This the best crop of holdover survivors I've had here in a while. I've got pics of that broken racked buck on multiple cameras throughout the last six weeks. Seems to be a homer, at least for the winter. Looking forward to October 1st!
