  1. I had a Dan Marino rookie card in pristine condition from back when I was into collecting cards, I haven't seen it in about 10 yrs, I think I made the mistake when I told the kids it was worth $75 it prably ended up getting traded in for a bag full of candy! 2. There wicked handy my son bought me one this past Christmas and I love it. Sent from my VS980 4G using Tapatalk
  3. I have a new in the box Dead Ringer 2.5×20mm scope that came with the 12 gauge Mossberg combo I just bought. I would like to upgrade the scope since its a cheaper line scope and with the recoil of a rather light 12 gauge I'm not sure how long it would last, I'm thinking it might be better suited for a 20 gauge or muzzloader. It comes with ring mounts and and cover. The scope itself retails for around $55 dollars from the little research I've done selling for $35 dollars TYD or local pickup for $30.I'm in Watertown.PM me if you have any questions or to arrange to buy, thanks for looking! 9. I here ya tuckersdaddy, it's supposed to be a 18 gun safe but I only got 9 guns with scopes and it's pretty packed, there's no way you could get 18 long guns in there unless you were stacking them one on top of another, trying to talk the wife into the fact that you can never have enough guns Sent from my VS980 4G using Tapatalk
  10. Thanks for the info guys I can't wait to get to the range, any ideas on a good scope for it in the $100- $150 dollar range? Sent from my VS980 4G using Tapatalk
  11. Thanks for the info Zem I had never heard of that problem before, I will have to keep and eye out for it although I generally don't handle my firearms that roughly Sent from my VS980 4G using Tapatalk
  12. So I figured what's a gun collection without a versatile shotgun?...enter my new Mossberg 500 field and deer combo.I have been without a shotgun since I sold my Winchester model 1300(one of the dumbest moves I've made) and been thinking for awhile on replacing it.I did some research on the mossy 500 and almost everything I read was good.It came with 2 barrels a 28" bird barrel and a 24"rifled slugster barrel with the cantilever scope mount and the raised cheek piece and a cheap dead ringer 2.5 power scope( which I will soon be upgrading) out the door for $400. What do you guys think? Sent from my VS980 4G using Tapatalk

  22. I was 9 I remember not being able to see out the downstairs Windows as the snowbanks were over the windows that and that we had like a week off from school. Sent from my VS980 4G using Tapatalk
  23. When my dad died in 1995 I took possession of his deer rifle a Winchester semi auto in 308( not sure of exact model) which I ended up killing my first deer with. In 1997 I had this gun along with several other guns and household items stolen in a home burglary. I am sick to my stomach every time I think about it that such a beautiful gun which means so much to me is in the hands of some dirtbag somewhere. Sent from my VS980 4G using Tapatalk
  24. Good point turkeyfeathers, I guess I need to bust out my muzzleloader more often, I guess it's a good thing then that I haven't harvested anything with my bow yet lol Sent from my VS980 4G using Tapatalk
  25. When I harvest a deer I like to keep the empty brass in my hunting pants for good luck on future hunts Sent from my VS980 4G using Tapatalk
