I rely on knowledge of the land and past experiences more than trailcams for my hunting strategys but I do enjoy the wildlife pictures they capture Sent from my VS980 4G using Tapatalk

Speaking Of Lost, What's The Worst Thing You've Lost?

I had a Dan Marino rookie card in pristine condition from back when I was into collecting cards, I haven't seen it in about 10 yrs, I think I made the mistake when I told the kids it was worth $75 it prably ended up getting traded in for a bag full of candy! Sent from my VS980 4G using Tapatalk -

I have a new in the box Dead Ringer 2.5×20mm scope that came with the 12 gauge Mossberg combo I just bought. I would like to upgrade the scope since its a cheaper line scope and with the recoil of a rather light 12 gauge I'm not sure how long it would last, I'm thinking it might be better suited for a 20 gauge or muzzloader. It comes with ring mounts and and cover. The scope itself retails for around $55 dollars from the little research I've done selling for $35 dollars TYD or local pickup for $30.I'm in Watertown.PM me if you have any questions or to arrange to buy, thanks for looking! Thanks ny hunter I'm planning on taking this outfit with me when I hunt the thicker stuff limiting my shots to within 50 yrds or so I'm thinking maybe a fixed 4x power might work Sent from my VS980 4G using Tapatalk -

I here ya tuckersdaddy, it's supposed to be a 18 gun safe but I only got 9 guns with scopes and it's pretty packed, there's no way you could get 18 long guns in there unless you were stacking them one on top of another, trying to talk the wife into the fact that you can never have enough guns Sent from my VS980 4G using Tapatalk -

Thanks for the info Zem I had never heard of that problem before, I will have to keep and eye out for it although I generally don't handle my firearms that roughly Sent from my VS980 4G using Tapatalk -
So I figured what's a gun collection without a versatile shotgun?...enter my new Mossberg 500 field and deer combo.I have been without a shotgun since I sold my Winchester model 1300(one of the dumbest moves I've made) and been thinking for awhile on replacing it.I did some research on the mossy 500 and almost everything I read was good.It came with 2 barrels a 28" bird barrel and a 24"rifled slugster barrel with the cantilever scope mount and the raised cheek piece and a cheap dead ringer 2.5 power scope( which I will soon be upgrading) out the door for $400. What do you guys think? Sent from my VS980 4G using Tapatalk

I'd deffinetly be up for a meet and greet type of event especially in the Syracuse area, I have only met one member from the forum but he was a great guy and I expect most of the rest of you would be the same, it would be great to put some faces with some names!
