  1. Would clear election fraud "bother me"? I'm going to say yes to that. As much as I loathe Trump, if he won, he won. But he didn't win. What he did do was sow doubt months before the election and put on this new republican mantle of victim, like the little snowflake he is. His more fervent fans followed joined in. The entire election process needs to be rehabbed. It's a shit show every four years. The American voter deserves better.
  2. I'm not a lawyer but I think it means this: "Counselor, you're standing in my courtroom with an absolutely idiotic lawsuit. I need you to go stand someplace else."
  3. Do you need a safe space? I'm happy to pass the hat around to see what we can come up with. In the meantime, just breathe. Good air in; bad air out.
  4. Like a removed hemorrhoid? I'm astounded how quickly Trump ceased to matter, not only to his detractors but to his fervent followers. The Proud Boys are dropping him. Q followers are realizing that he isn't going to release the Kraken and maybe they were just LARPing the whole time. The Republicans will take a little longer, but they will wash their hands of Trump as soon as it's politically prudent. That is the ones who don't go down with him. Elections have consequences. It's been a fascinating week. Mostly because we forgot what normalcy was.
  5. As much as I am a trout guy -- standing in tropical water wearing shorts and flip flops, casting to fish that take me into the backing, and knowing that there's a cold beer waiting for me on the beach is a pretty sweet way to fish.
  6. I have a friend who named his son Ransom after Stewart's character in Liberty Valance. Good movie.
  7. That reminds me of an old joke. Clint, Duke, Norris, Bronson, Bill and a turkey walk into a bar ...
  8. I love that movie. Anyway, both. And Lee Marvin.
  9. At one time property in NYC, upstate and Canada. Something somewhere is inevitably breaking. Now, if these were income generating, that's the price you pay and that's fine. And if you have unlimited finds (which I guess is the point of this thread) then it's easy. However, for me, I'd rather find that base and then just rent wherever and whatever I want. So now, when I'm wandering the west and helping the downtrodden, I can just stay in a nice Four Seasons every night.
  10. Because stuff goes wrong and it's a pain in the ass to manage on the other side of the country. Even if you have a local team on the ground, it still requires thought and effort. But if you have enough money you can rent anything, pay people to cater to you, and have someone else pay to fix shit.
  11. Owning a few homes can be a pain in the ass. It's easier to find a base and rent everywhere you want to go. But I would sell what I have and wander the country fighting for justice and protecting the underdog like Kwai Chang Caine.
