    Well, in regards to the above mentioned book, I wouldn't say I'm an expert ... more of a lifelong student. But yes, I do know who Naomi Wolf is. I find it interesting that you would quote someone without looking up who they are.

    This is pretty wrong on all accounts. The laws of thermodynamics as they operate within the human body are not unique to the individual. And everybody lies about their calorie intake. Give me a dozen 16-year-old "stick boys", 8 months, weights and an abundance of calories, and I'll give you back muscled-up kids. That Lautner kid put on 30 lbs of muscle in a year between Twilight movies. The hard part is eating 3000 calories per day of decent food. Found the perfect dessert for the above mentioned Stinger Pizza.

    What really sells that scene is the timing and pacing of the dramatic anticipation. It takes a full minute before the skeleton advance. Harryhausen said that the rising from the earth scene was incredibly labourious and he could have just had the skeletons appear in smoke, but that would have been wrong. Great filmmaking.     I waver on newer CGI, generally not liking it, though I'll admit that Jackson's King Kong was great. I teared up a little when that big dope bought it at the end. Studying and working in animation for years made me fan of Ray Harryhausen and Willis O'Brien. This sequence from Jason and the Argonauts is one of the greatest animated scenes ever filmed.
