  1. So you've managed to determine that this little kid is lying about her age and possibly working for a drug gangs, but also given the opportunity would have killed a cop. How screwed up you are.
  2. https://www.washingtonpost.com/politics/poor-handling-of-virus-cost-trump-his-reelection-campaign-autopsy-finds/2021/02/01/92d60002-650b-11eb-886d-5264d4ceb46d_story.html
  3. I lived in SE Asia for about four years: India, Malaysia, Singapore.
  4. There's a well-known seafood restaurant on the way from the Changi airport in Singapore that has a large sign out front which reads, If It Swims, We Have It. You'll never convince or force the chinese to give up their traditional diets.
  5. Definitely interested in a few. Are you breaking up boxes?
  6. Hah! Welcome to my world. I'm either the leader of antifa or Trump's lost son depending on who you talk to.
  7. I don't know of another situation where you can yell, "SWEEP!!!" at a woman and follow it up with "HARDER!!!" and walk away with all your teeth.
  8. I thought it was interesting for those who didn't know what went into a curling rink. Then again, if there's anyone who can do it, it seem to be you.
  9. Sorry to hear. Wishing for the best.
  10. A proper curling surface is pebbled and would make for a rough skate. Here's a master ice maker explaining the process: "Sweep!"
  11. I think there's a slight difference in naming a pandemic (or variant) after the area it originated and the way Trump used it which was an insult and accusation. Banning use of the terms seems silly, but that's where we are now.
  12. As the Canadian on the forum ... j'approuve!
  13. Maybe he was burned at the stake for liking burned steak. With ketchup. Travel restrictions aren't a bad idea. However, it's all in the execution. As I recall, Trump announced the EU ban on a Wed night to go into effect on Friday and with no clear "this not that", it threw tens of thousands into a full on panic jamming people into airports that weekend. Hard to say how many got sick from that. Australia's model won't work here. Too big, too diverse, too many people, too many "screw masks" advocates. So we're left with inadequate knee-jerk reactions to what's popping up today. The whack-a-mole approach to pandemic control with some successes, some failures, and many more deaths to come. It is what it is.
  14. Australia Cases 28,811 Recovered 25,486 Deaths 909 My family spent the past four months in Australia on a project. They flew in, were immediately taken to a hotel room and locked in for two weeks. Once they go through that, they lived in a normal world of work, restaurants, sports, movies and get togethers. That sounds like success to me.
  15. This thread has epic all over it. Two must haves for me:
  16. It's a handy for scraps but I don't know if I would install one. It makes working under the sink an absolute pain in the ass.
  17. They were banned in NYC for years. I think they thought people would stuff body parts and transmissions down there. Probably right.
  18. What Foods Can You Put Down Your Garbage Disposal? YES Fruit Scraps Fruit Pits Vegetable Scraps Corn Cobs Cooked Meat Small Bones Leftovers Ice NO Clam or Oyster Shells Grease Oil A Large Amount of Vegetable Peels A Large Number of Eggshells Corn Husks Artichokes Any Non-food Items Illustrations by Chris Philpot I just bought a foaming disposal cleaner that I'm in love with.
  19. I just did a deep dive into microfibre cleaning cloths - Norwex vs. E-Cloths - and my head hurts. I need a drink. (With any luck, I won't spill it.)
  20. But how often do you clean your toilet brush?
