The issue there is that you're calling for some kind of broad litmus test. If, as many believe, that you can hold diverse political or social opinion and still find common ground as Americans, then you surely must be able to have a similar diversity within a political party. Even more necessary within a two party system.

Now that support, businesses, allies, friends and money are fleeing from him, it will be interesting to watch. The problem with stirring up a mob, is that you lose control of them very quickly, especially when you no longer have the megaphone of the oval office or twitter. I think we will be witnessing the end of the Trump brand.

Trump had better depend upon Biden's good nature. Another president would unleash the justice dept on Trump. While it does seem too little too late, the movers and shakers in politics and business are lining up to work with and help Biden The country has had enough. So, in that sense, sure ... let's Kumbaya the hell out of the next few years. I'm not saying they don't. What I think is more important, however, is to understand that and therefore look at every media source with a skeptical eye.

They then occupied the senate chambers as well as various leaders private offices. Thugs? Yes. A mob? Certainly. Terrorists? I'll agree with that. Can Biden heal the country? I don't know. I hope so. He's not the sharpest knife in the drawer but by all accounts he is a decent man with a heart and that may be what the country needs.

I don't think the challenge is finding unbiased news source as much as looking at wherever you get your news with a discerning and skeptical eye.

There's a lot to this. Every positive thing Trump did was undercut by his default venal asshole personality made worse and encouraged by his core fan base. Had he been able to act halfway presidential, he would be looking at a second term and possibly being on the road to leaving a positive legacy instead of this American carnage we now see. Biden, while being way past his sell by date and the wrong guy to be a president at any other time, may be the right guy for the moment. If he can do a halfway job of calming, healing, dealing with covid, and getting the country moving forward, he will be known as the great healer and cement his place in history. (In before Grouse/Rattler loses his mind.)
