  1. I listen to pretty much anything and everything except metal and country. Favorites will be: Jay-Z Eminem Wu-Tang Clan Erasure 10,000 Maniacs DIdo Sarah McLaughlin Ne-Yo Toni Braxton Leona Lewis Norah Jones The Cure Don Omar Prince Royce Zacarias Ferreira But if there is to be one and only one. It would have to be Sarah Brightman. The one person I would pay top dollar to see whenever she's in town. Sarah Brightman - "Time To Say Goodbye" http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nUf2XjqQQjY Sarah Brightman - "Nessun Dorma" http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zAERU_0KuJY&list=PLDY3Ca98sG0d2Z1rcPmuXF2CkKoLZxoUm
  2. There may not be an "I" in team but there sure is a "M" and a "E" and that spells "me".
  3. I would think I'm not important enough for these special interest groups to wire tap me. The conservatives would think I'm ignorant because they're tapping everyone. The liberals would think I have low self esteem but it's not my fault since it's a product of my poor immigrant upbringing so I should be entered into a 12 step program.
  4. With the communist, terrorist, anti-gun, anti-hunting groups, and our own government. Who isn't out to get you*. *Note: By you I mean anyone who is reading this thus all of us. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. Yes, very addicting. I caught the fever as well. Wife had to initiate an intervention. I was averaging a new one every 4 months. Put a nice dent into our bank account. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. True. I live in NYC. We only drive fast. Next poster had purchased a firearm with the intention of passing it down to the children before their children can even hold a firearm.
  7. Most of my favorites has already been mentioned so I'll mention a few others. Backdraft, The Unusual Suspects, Braveheart, etc. But I'll mention an unexpected one..."Before Sunset". Yes, it's a chick flick. You'll either love it or you'll hate it but it's unique based on how it was filmed and pretty captivating. Surprisingly, it never got any real attention but if you read every review, everyone gives it outstanding reviews.
  8. I don't know why you can't? Their starship product are bolt action. My only problem is that I can't afford it.
  9. I'm guessing this doesn't effect lifetimers? [Add] Specfically those who already have lifetime sportsman/super sportsman licenses?

    Welcome to HuntingNY.
  12. Mossy Oak or military camo? Military camo for fashion has been around for ages.
  13. I thought about hunting when I went to school in Michigan but them forgot about it when I moved back to NYC. I decided to take the plunge when my bro thought of doing it too. I dove in head first. With no one to me for us, we made a lot of mistakes. You can only get so much from books, YouTube, and Google. I invest so much time and money as well as wasted a bunch of money as well (buying stuff I thought I need but didn't). When I think back, what I did was pretty crazy. How many people are willing to blindly spent over $1000.00, go through all trouble figuring things out...just to SEE if its something I might be interested in doing? I think there's a lot of people who would be interested in hunting but not willing to commit to it since its an unknown to them. Hunting is an activity that if you want to do it yourself (have your own gear, drive yourself out to spots, etc), you have invest a pretty penny to do. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. New Year's Eve, dealing with the newborn baby, me and my wife just wanted a quiet evening and sleep in. Family and friends didn't know we just wanted to sleep, thought we couldn't go anywhere with the baby so they felt sorry for us. So they took it on themselves to bring the party to our place instead as a "nice gesture." Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  15. Take it slow. Nothing to be ashamed of taking lessons and starting on the bunny hill. Also, if you like skiing, once you move over to snowboarding you'll never go back to skiing. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  16. False....but was a staple of mine during college. Next poster does most of their reading while sitting on the can. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  17. Only works on television.
  18. They left out one question. What do you call it? A. Soda B. Pop C. Soda Pop D. Coke
  19. Mines shows New York City, Jersey City, and Yonkers.
  20. Just an observation. You notice that when people discuss small calibers for larger game say like a .223 for deer, most people point out that it is not enough gun even though some people have killed deer with a 22LR. When you talk about large calibers for the same game, people say you don't need a large caliber and that its all about shot placement. They then point out the fact that some people have taken deer with a 22LR. My personal feeling is that larger calibers allows you a tiny bit more room for error. The smaller the caliber, the more precise you have to be. The other day I was watching "Life Below Zero" on NatGeo and saw this native Alaskan Inuit take down a running wolf at something like 200 to 300 yards with a Mosin Nagant on iron sights with one shot. I would not advise anyone to take that kind of shot but apparent to her that's nothing but a chip shot.
