strange and scariest things while hunting or fishing NY
Elmo replied to noodle one's topic in General Chit Chat
I shot a squirrel out of a tree. I starting walking towards it to pick it up. I was less than 5 feet away when I heard leaves rustling. A chipmunk comes flying in, drop kicks the dead squirrel, stares right at me and gives me a bark, and then runs off. Another time I saw a couple committing adultery in the parking lot at a WMU. He's in hunting clothes, she wasn't. Her car was parked next to the truck while they went at it. My guess is he told his wife he was going out "hunting" and they rendezvoused at that particular location. Or they might be a committed couple that just like to role play or something. -

So would a well placed 22LR at point blank range but I wouldn't shoot a bear with a 22LR at 400 yards. Don't have any experience to relate to so I'm just going on pure speculations but I would hate to come across a trophy moose which happens to be on the other side of a valley, standing near a cliff, and having to pass on it because I can't anchor it. -
True...did you mean "cleaning his shotgun" metaphorically? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

http://www.chuckhawks.com/game_range_caliber.htm Might help you with your decision. 300 WinMag gives you a little more "omph" and barely moves you up to the big game class but it looks like you might want to consider the .338 WinMag if you want to confidently move up big game levels. Note: Many consider another level above big game which is dangerous game but that's mainly reserved for the African Big Five. The only game in North America that is classified as dangerous game levels is the Coastal Brown Bears. -
True....we really are that bored, huh?

Shot the Tikka T3 in 7mm Magnum. Nice rifle. Didn't spend that much time with it to give you a full review but it was pretty sweet from what I saw. -

Great, now I have to look over my shoulder every time I masturbate? I might as put on a show. -
"The true test of a man's character is what he does when no one is watching." by John Wooden. No truer words were spoken when it comes to the world of hunting because when we hunt, we're usually out there by alone and deer won't snitch on you.

I'm curious as to how many of those that defend this guy for his shot choices because he has the necessary skill level to make these shots are also the same people who criticize people for taking head shots? I guess it's like basketball. If the guy makes the shot, it's a great highlight reel shot. If he misses, it's like WTF was he thinking? The dude took 5 shots to dispatch 4 deer. None of the deer I see suffered for more than a few seconds. The 2 that was off screen could not have been running because they were just off of the cameras angle. If they were on a full run, they would have been shot way off from the camera's view. So odds are only the second deer was the only one that was moving. Maybe most of us can't make these kinds of shots but just because we can't doesn't mean he shouldn't because clearly he can. PS: For the record, Michael Jordan never took a bad shot.

6.5 Grendel or .300 Blackout. I'd say .300 Blackout.

Hence why I said "If you have a barn full of them you get put together a nice meal for sure". I was only able to get one. Breasted it. 2 bites and I was done.

Better but still doesn't look like a signature. Now it just looks like a new paragraph. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

He uses a quote by Thomas Jefferson as his signature. Problem is he did a poor job editing it so it always looks like part of this post instead.

A&E higher ups admitted they acted to hastily with the suspensions. http://www.nydailynews.com/entertainment/tv-movies/ae-network-executives-messed-duck-dynasty-article-1.1557868

I've even had the New York City kind. They're okay. Too much work for too little meat that's only so so. If you have a barn full of them you get put together a nice meal for sure. They're red meat. Taste sort of like Canada goose. http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2012/09/27/eating-pigeons-in-nyc-jackson-landers-hunting-invasive-species_n_1920973.html

What's the rule under the SAFE Act regarding magazine capacity for handguns? Always toyed with the idea of getting a handgun license.
