  1. Its an 03 focus wagon... I am looking for the rear drivers door electric lock mechanism... if anyone has an old beater laying around and wants to sell a part.... This car is a southern car, absolutely no rust... it is almost worth fixing..lol
  2. years back, My mom used to take leftover pork, ham, beef chicken and whatever else, run it through the grinder, add mayo and make sandwitch spread. Its awesome, you'll love it
  3. Susan made this ham casserole last night... ham, egg noodles, sour cream, diced bell peppers and swiss cheese... Two thumbs up from me!
  4. Don't forget the cornish crosses... excelent meat birds. Nothing like farm raised chicken
  5. I have yet to get so much as a bite this spring..lol. I ordered some Mepps spinners and they will be here today!
  6. It seems to me that the ones that refuse to wear a mask are the ones that dont want their rights taken away yet on the other hand, not wearing a mask is taking away my rights and everyone else's right to be protected as advised by the experts. Spotting a narcissistic person these days is really becoming easy to do. Zero regard for others.
  7. No pic required! Ive seen you cook before!
  8. I finally got to eat a meal out of the split pea soup... I had to thin it a little bit with chicken broth but that was the only adjustment needed. The sweet flavor of the carrots made this dish perfect. I sent most of the soup off to my family but will be making this again
  9. left over white pizza for lunch.. reheated on the stove in butter
  10. It looks like he is doing well... He posted on FB today and is making a new carving of a dog... Ill bet he will pop in here soon
  11. Excellent question... Following
  12. Happy birthday! Hope you find something fun to do today!
  13. Not to mention that there are used gloves laying around in all the parking lots .... not fair to the folks that have to pick them up and toss them in the trash.
  14. I totally agree. I feel better knowing that I am doing the best I can for myself and others around me.
  15. Agreed, Belo. No one has the right to infect me , so wear the mask if you have to go out. It certainly cannot hurt and its just a small measure, but not doing it is blatant disregard for others. I am ok with this being mandatory
  16. I honestly believe that the masks do not offer that kind of protection and the particles are much smaller than the masks can filter... but is surly cannot hurt to wear one to minimize the odds of getting or transferring the virus.
  17. I do not have the right to infect you, and you do not have the right to infect me... so wear the damn mask! I had to go to Home Depot yesterday for my job... not my personal choice to go there. They are letting 75 people in the store at a time but they are not monitoring that. There were at least 75 cars in the lot and obviously more than 75 people in the store. My rough estimate is that 25 % of the shoppers had masks and most did not practice social distancing.. I have to keep dodging people because they're going to get in "my space". I even saw a grandmother with an infant in the cart.. no mask on either one of them and obviously not trying to keep away from other people . Only a few employees were wearing masks also. Some people just don't care or think that something bad like covid can't happen to them.
  18. Yay or Nay? Mashed rutabagas. Haven't had them since I was a kid but I do remember liking them. These were actually very good!
  19. The easter ham bone put to good use! Some split pea soup! I couldn't finish it last night.. too tired, but tonight I need to trim the meat off the bone, season, and let it simmer for another hour or so. It smelled up the house nicely!
  20. Saturday evening dinner.... Blueberry pancakes, blueberry muffins, eggs and blueberry maple sausage.
  21. The Easter ham.. Sue made the full blown Easter dinner.. the Ham is pictured. She made potato salad, home made beans and fresh Polish sausage, boxed everything up and then we made porch deliveries to family and friends.. needless to say there are no leftovers That ham bone is in my freezer and is slated for split pea soup later this week.
  22. This is a great idea ! I am in pretty good shape myself but also willing to help out.
