Both not too bad.had to try it being a genny guy.tried the simcoe last ight and the scotch tonight.both not bad!

Fished from 730-130.managed 14 fish(released all)between us two.nothing big at all but still fun.tough for sure as it' still early.had to fish part of creek where it widened out.all fish were from that same spot.1 on a spoon,1 worm and the rest were on a white or white/chartreuse maribou jig.floating 14" or so under a thingamabobber.wow did it snow too!

Upside down pic.Little guy.first time I've got a line wet sence opener.hit the maribou jig on float down.waters still high dirty and moving at a good clip.not sure if they have stocked the creek yet or not(oatka)..looking at that fish with the bottom jaw being a black color I'm thinking a tank fish for sure.any opinions?

I am dealing with one now and hoping to heck get out soon.only time they do anything is when uve got money for em.they show up to pick it up then leave.it is a roof over our heads and heat so I can't complain too much

Thanks!not a monster by any means but felt like it on the 5'6" ultralight.cabin fever setting in bad and getting the itch.pain in the arse with the iced line guides but oh so worth it!need to invest in a longer float setup at some point.hard to keep the line at a good height

Got out this morning with cousin.hit up oatka creek.conditions are pretty good for the upcoming april 1st opener.should b stocking this coming week or so i would think.only fish caught and a solid brown at that.didnt get length or anything.hard enough trying hold the feisty thing for a quick pic then back in water.caught it on a small hair jig 3 feet under a float.hit in a deep pool
