Congrats on the doe and sons buck!!had run into churchville to store n saw atleast a dozen deer in fields on way home around 6pm.nice buck with a handfull of does too!

Ive got nothing to say on this one other than i agree what others have said.i read this earlier and it only had one reply...knowing where it was headed.back on now.and just shaking my head...

Figures as much.get down out of stand and take slow walk to check stands.plenty of scrapes and first two rubs ive seen this season.get to stand and hear the crash to my right about 40 yards.looked like the nice buck saw two weekends ago across the field.bedded down behind that stand where they always do.out past his ears.o well.atleast seeing them!

Had 2 small doe around 8 go by at 60yards.circled back got to around 30yrds knew something was up.blew and gone

Wind picked up the min it broke day.head on a swivel now.phone down.get em grampy!

Saw 3 doe and a buck with nose down barreling across road on way into byron.good luck!

No cameras.i go old school ha...took wheeler around property sat afternoon and 5 scrapes looking fresh.havent seen any rubs yet.hoping to get out this weekend.will report back!

Just getting ready to head out of woods after got off phone my cousin.look across field and theres a buck about 500 yards away.got back in stand and grunted him into 30 yards on outside of pines.wouldnt get any closer.couldnt get a clear shot.another 8pt with shorter tines.so far im liking this season!walked the area he came from and 3 more scrapes!

Ahh what a morning.im ready for a beer already!!!grrr.a swing and a miss.first thing when got to stand could hear i busted something.10 mins up in stand i have a deer 20yrds from me for atleast 30 mins till she wandered away.around 745 or so hit the grunt call a few times.at 8 i peak over my shoulder and have 2 deer coming down the trail.4pt and the 8 i saw opening morning.both came by presenting shots at 25yrds and just when u think u practice enough.roght over the back of the 8pter!!!!didnt spook em suprisingly.they hung out around me for atleast another 30 mins.they would walk off n id give a couple grunts n right back in my direction.couldnt get the 8pt back in range.the 4pt got within 10yrds but gave him the pass atleast 6 diff times.o well.exciting morning.think my nerves got the best of me on that one!

Waiting for the windows to defrost then heading for grandmothers place in byron

Ill be out tomorrow morning!took the day off from work.got a few days vacation left and dont have any exact plans on using em.figured id take a cool morning sit to relax and enjoy the woods

Grrrrr.home.half day at work.have 1/2 power n most of the machines wont run and dont want to burn em out.already told em to let me know if its gunna be the same tomorrow cause ill b sitting in the woods.NOT coming into work
