    Have had multiple bucks on cam and no clean shot sunday on the 7pt thats been running around. Jumped a very nice buck for my area sunday morning and ran right in front of cam.put a chitty taste in my mouth but hopefully he sticks around.thinking this weekend is going to be hot!!

    Good point you have there also.i took a ride to the rez yesterday(36 miles) taking all back roads and i typically see atleast 4-6 dead deer.only one doe

    Seem to have had mixed results too.do have some rubs and scrapes but odd things with the scrapes are is they will be fresh one day then dead after that. so far ive had a spike chasing a doe and another smaller buck chasing/grunting.heard grunting before getting in the woods this morning. the 7pt from this afternoon ignored the grunt,rattles,the can and even a snort wheeze.usually the rut is much more active than this,weird one for sure

    Less than 10 min in stand and 7pt strolled by.was ready to draw but no shot.didnt care about the grunt or bleat

    Had no intentions of sitting the afternoon but g/f said go for it as shes prob gunna b sleeping(has abcess tooth).im in(8g).buck working a scrape along field on way here.good luck
