New stock - ugly or nice?
Moho81 replied to Steuben Jerry's topic in Guns and Rifles and Discussions
I must say I like your pictures of it more than I like the online picture. Looks like a nice shooting gun! Congratulations Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -
I hope you mean the fawn not the sheriff! 🤣 Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Just your horrible neighbors coming back one last time to aggravate you!

Seeing as how I am fairly new to bow hunting. A general open question , how long can you reasonably hold at full draw and get an accurate shot on target? It's actually something that I practice at home. I go to full draw and wait, I've never timed it out but It does not seem very long and my accuracy is off. Not a lot but its noticeable. I find that if I draw get on target and release my shots are for more accurate.

Looking for Builder recommendations in WNY
Moho81 replied to mlammerhirt's topic in General Chit Chat
You will first need to hire an Architect to plan out and draw up a set of construction documents to turn into the Town for a building permit. It's a pretty involved process. When are you looking to build? Also PM sent -
The used landscape trailer I picked up had one of those installed on it. The guy couldn’t say enough good things about it. He only used one and said the zero turn never moved on him. I’m going to reuse it for my ATV just have to reposition it. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

They ran this deal a while back. I bought a dozen. Haven’t had a chance to get them cut down so I can shoot them but hopefully soon. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Thanks for the heads up. I’ve looked a few times for something like that but never found one that worked as advertised. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Not my personal experience but a fellow golfer. However I have done my fair share of both. Long story short friend is a 20 handicap he skulls one to about 5 feet from 100+ yards out. The following hole he chunks one into the water from 50 yards out. Hence we coined the phrase “the skull and run is always more effective than the chunk and dunk” this was years ago and we still laugh at it. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I guess your plan didn’t work. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -
FYI. A skull and run is far more effective from 160 yards than a chunk and dunk. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Wow that crazy and quite eye opening to what instructors go through just to teach for free. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I learned from a ton of sources. My uncle got me started and has taught me a lot. Then there are the other guys I hunt with. Most are older than me and have taught me along the way. I have done some reading up on hunting but not much and of course since I joined this forum I have learned a few things here as well. I am no great hunter but I know enough to get at least one deer a year with the limited time I have (knock on wood)

Hunt and shoot what you want. If you want him to grow another year then pass on him if you see him. There is no guarantee what the neighbors will do or if he will even give anyone a chance.

Personally don’t enjoy them. Erie county fair is big and only 30 min away. But bad over priced food, crappy warm beer and unsafe rides just does not do it for me. Last time I went there was well over 12 years ago and it was only for the demolition derby which I must say was cool. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I think that would have to be one of those things that just has to be done because it can be done. Like why not!!! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Just started this week because I got bored. Not a lot just 2 days and about 24 arrows each day. I have a new dozen arrows I need to get cut so I can start shooting those. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

First shot today was a flyer. Missed the bag completely at 17 yards. 🤪 Second round was better. Stopped after that. And yes I was shooting on an angle. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
