My seven year old has decided to try softball this year. So far all she has had is indoor practices which I would not stay and watch. Tonight she has an outdoor practice which I assume I will be able to stay and watch.

Upgraded my truck in January. It gets maybe 5 more miles per gallon than the last one but it’s still not great at 17.5 mpg’s. I just don’t see the cost benefit of running a second fuel efficient vehicle by the time you pay for it and insurance. It’s a suck it up and take it on the chin situation. As of right now hunting and the outdoors is the only thing my 10 almost 11 year old daughter is into. She has tried bowling, Girl Scouts, softball and soccer. bowling lasted a few years and all the others only lasted one season. So far she been going into the woods with me since she was five. We seen deer a bunch but it took at least three years together before we finally connected and even with 3 deer less years she still wanted to go out. We just spent the weekend out at camp and as we where packing up and loading the 4 wheeler she goes to me “I really like coming out here”. Me too kid me too. I know all that can change and she can lose interest in a moments notice but for right now I’m loving it and planning on having a hunting partner for life. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I got a pretty basic alarm for Christmas this year. Not exactly what I would have purchased but it's better than nothing. I'll upgrade down the road to something that has a remote display so I can see the working temperature upstairs and not just in the basement.

So glad the house we bought 7 years ago came with a whole home generator. We actually lost power yesterday due to a car accident taking out a power pole. House went dark for 10 seconds until the generator kicked itself on and ran for 5.5 hours until they installed a new pole and got the power back on and running.
