  1. Under Armor left their sponsored hunters hang out to dry for hunting legally.
  2. Those were both things I did not like to hear, but the most concerning thing was the comment he made about trying to include ways around due process.
  3. I truly hope I am wrong on this, and that the things he said yesterday were some sort of Trump-trickery mind game hes playing with the antis, but it sure didnt feel that way as he was saying it.
  4. Same here, but my membership was up last year or late the year before and I neglected to rejoin until now.
  5. You guys need to listen to him speaking with the pro-gun control folks yesterday. It may change the way you feel about him. I certainly wont be voting for him again.
  6. I still have not received a reply to the support case I opened. I can imagine they are being buried with such requests right now.
  7. Just re-joined, as I had let my previous membership lapse. Something Ive been meaning to do, just hadnt.
  8. Ive already posted an article about new legislation that they are trying to pass that, if passed, will ban almost every semiauto firearm, including handguns and shotguns. Its not a paranoid what if, its already been introduced this week.
  9. While I respect your right to have your own opinion, I find what you said sickening and completely unAmerican.
  10. Of course it is. You seem to be all too willing to hand over chunks of your 2nd amendment rights. They have pending legislation already to ban ALL semi automatic firearms that accept a detachable magazine (which means all of them except a small number of shotguns and tube magazine fed firearms) and any semi auto shotgun with a pistol grip (it will include thumbhole stocks), etc. Im willing to bet that you are ok with that as well. You are your own worst enemy, youll realize it in time when they come for your pump action guns, the rest of the semi autos that arent covered in the legislation they are trying to pass, your handguns, etc etc etc. Once they gain traction, its not going to stop. This is not paranoia, they have already said it.
  11. So heres one for the guys that think all they want to ban are "assault rifles". The writing is pretty clearly on the wall now. http://www.washingtonexaminer.com/house-democrats-introduce-bill-prohibiting-sale-of-semi-automatic-weapons/article/2650087 "The bill prohibits the “sale, transfer, production, and importation” of semi-automatic rifles and pistols that can hold a detachable magazine, as well as semi-automatic rifles with a magazine that can hold more than 10 rounds. Additionally, the legislation bans the sale, transfer, production, and importation of semi-automatic shotguns with features such as a pistol grip or detachable stock, and ammunition feeding devices that can hold more than 10 rounds. Cicilline’s legislation names 205 specific firearms that are prohibited, including the AK-47 and AR-15."
  12. I honestly like DD coffee better, but the food at TH is way better than DD
  13. When I used to go to Timmy Hos alot, I won quite a few times. Everything from free coffees to free food and one time a gift card. I dont go very often anymore.
  14. With most kids, in most situations, I agree that laying a hand on them is not necessary, but it doesnt hold true for all of them. Some kids need a "swift kick in the ass" from time to time to get the point. Im not condoning beating them, but if you so much as leave a mark on a kids ass from a spanking, you could be in deep doo doo. Talking, grounding, taking things away just does not work for all kids. Heres an example. My mom's neighbor when she lived in Florida had a son. I witnessed how he was raised, great people, great parenting from all accounts. When the kid was about 14 he started acting out here and there, as many teenagers do. The parents tried the normal groundings, etc, but he became more confrontational with them, and everyone else around. One day when he was 16, he was in front of the house yelling at his mother at the top of his lungs, getting in her face, etc when his dad arrived home. His dad stepped in and grabbed the front of his shirt to pull him in a bit closer to talk to him and quiet things down, well thats when his pinky nail scratched the kids chest about 1/2" in length. The kid called the police, and his father ended up in jail for 3 days. The whole scene was witnessed by my mother and a couple of the other neighbors, who all made statements to the police about how things went down. That was the thing that saved the guy from spending more than a few days in jail, but he still went to jail. All because he tried to handle things the way they needed to be. I feel very lucky that my kids, so far, have not needed alot of punishment. I spanked my daughter once when she was 4 and my son a few times when he was 3 or 4, but thats it. I never did it out of rage, and I did not like it at all, but it was necessary to get the point across. Again though, Ive been lucky that my 2 kids behave better than most.
  15. Heres where society becomes the problem. How can people get their own homes in order now days? As a society, we have all but removed the ability to properly punish kids at home or in school. They have been taught that if their parent or a teacher lays a hand on them, or sometimes even yells at them the wrong way, they can go to the authorities and have that person arrested, etc. for "child abuse". Hell, all they have to do is lie and say they were hit or abused in some way and CPS has to at least investigate it. That has laid the foundation that there are no real repercussions to their actions, and they can do whatever they want to do because the adults are too afraid of the legal ramifications of punishing them. Many younger people now lack respect for any type of authority, they lack respect for anyone (including themselves), and all it takes is for their wiring to be just a little off and you have a real problem on your hands. Now, before you say that I dont know what Im talking about, etc etc, Ill just let you know that my girlfriend has been a CPS investigator for going on 20 years.
  16. I went from stock 33s to 35s on my truck and it didnt throw it off by more than a couple mph. No biggie.
  17. Thats why I contacted them through the form to request it.
  18. If you have a score card account, log into the site and click on "Contact Us" then you can fill out the form with comments. I asked them to remove me from all email and physical mailing lists and to delete my account, as I will no longer be doing any business with them due to the new firearms policies they announced this morning. If you do want your account cancelled, you should let them know exactly why.
  19. It was a sad day. So many perfectly good rifles were lost.
  20. There are alot of people that own things that they dont mention
  21. They are ok, but usually alot more pricey than anywhere else. I do most of my purchases online anyhow. Its just nice to have somewhere that I can look at things before I buy them.
