Its tough to compare the two, you are talking single cam vs dual cam. You should shoot both before you decide, not just draw them. Just my 2 cents.

Oh and I love how you NYB guys are against crossbows in archery season, but hold hands with NYMLA and support an early ML (gun) season. : After crossbows gain full inclusion, then what will your great crusade be? ;D

Why are they ridiculous? How about the guys that dont have the time to put into proper practice with their bows, go out into the woods with little to no practice and make a bad shot on a deer, injuring it and letting it die a slow, agonizing death? Wouldnt you rather have them go out into the woods with a weapon they have a better chance of making a clean, efficient kill with? Im gonna place my bet on no.

I imagine most guys with shoulder issues should be able to use the drawlock on a compound bow. Its legal now. They don't need crossbows. Says who? You and other members of NYB? Thankfully, things are changing. Just give it two years when they go over the law again. Full inclusion into archery season is coming. All archery equipment in archery season, as it should be. This bill will hopefully be passed as a temporary fix to at least let the disabled guys use them in the correct season.

In this area they seem to be doing fine. We have had snow, but other than drifted areas, it hasnt been that deep. I see the deer out digging in the fields almost every day, and there are tons of tracks all over the place. Ive been seeing them when I go out predator hunting, and they have all looked pretty healthy. Downstate, Im not sure about, they have gotten alot more snow than us this year.

I had a nice long reply written out explaining why this statement is a bunch of nonsense, but I decided not to bother this time. You believe that there are many who need one? I don't think so. But I have no problem allwing them for those who are physically challenge. Go for it. Yes, I do believe there are alot of guys with shoulder issues that could use them. I also believe that anyone who wants to use one should be able to. After all, they are just another form of bow. We have a bunch of threads on crossbows on the forum, you can find how I feel about that and NYB in one or two of them.

My father gave me his Model 336 30-30 that he bought in the 60s, its a great gun, but the finish is in bad shape. One of these days Im going to have the gun restored to make it look pretty again.

Yeah the SSTs are $15 a box regular price. Ill be buying as many as I can at a time when I find deals on them. Hopefully getting it sighted in doesnt take more than a box.

I am selling the original scope that is on the new slug gun I bought. I will post pics of it once I get it home and pull it off of the gun. Its a 2-7x32 and will include the weaver style rings. $40

Selling my Bushnell Banner 1.75-4x32 scope. It has the Circle-X reticule and Butler Creek flip up caps on both ends. It has a few marks on it from when I tried it on my SKS and the brass hit it, but with it being on the bottom of the scope, you dont see it. Scope works perfect, just selling it because I dont need it. $70
