  1. Seeing as you have admitted to using bait on your trailcams, something tells me you would shoot whatever you want regardless of the laws.
  2. Pterodactyls cost money. The can and string is cheaper. I've been thinking of switching over to drums for communication, but not many still have the skills required. HAHAHAHAHA
  3. I have the blind on my 2 man stand as well, it works great. I am going to see how it is without it for bow season this year though.
  4. Feral cats are actually a pretty big problem in alot of areas. They are doing quite a bit of damage to songbird populations along with other native species. They carry disease and parasites and reproduce at a pretty high rate. They can live for years in the wild. Heres some info, you can get more from a web search on the subject... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Feral_cat
  5. So a feral cat should be left to reproduce? Hmmmm. How about holding pet owners responsible for their pets? How do you think feral animals get to be a problem anyhow? Ask the DEC about it, they will tell you what their policy is on feral cats. BTW, chipmunks are not feral, they are part of the natural ecosystem.
  6. DEC told me cats without collars roaming around are considered feral and should be shot. Not saying I shoot them, but they would fit nicely down woodchuck holes.
  7. Never said it was, just said that ESL is replacing cards. Sorry to hear you were a victim.
  8. I have a Summit Viper SS, works great and I use it a ton. I do secure the top section with a ratchet strap when I get to where I want to be just for an added sense of security.
  9. I hear ya! I have all but 12 days in November off. ;D
  10. ESL is already replacing their member's cards.
  11. Doc, dont you still chisel stone tablets and have them delivered via Pterodactyl? ;D
  12. I noticed that this morning for here as well.
  13. I usually have a spare release and spare safety belt for around the tree in my backpack.
  14. I wont be using scents yet, maybe just a few grunts. Fawn bleats can work wonders this time of the season.
  15. Whats fishy about it? 1 - baiting is legal in many places, this pic is not from NY. 2 - the second deer is an easy answer, there were more than one deer there, and that other one is running away. Why would that be a clue for Photoshopping? 3 - The transparent look is due to the relatively poor quality of the camera. Theres lots of pics on this site alone that have odd blurs and such. Its typical for many trailcams, especially in fast motion shots.
  16. Those temps will be just fine, its showing to be a bit colder in my neck of the woods though. They have extended the rain chance to Saturday as well. Hopefully it stays away.
  17. I dont find it to ba any advantage other than to get an idea of whats hanging around. Its fun to check the pics and see what I got.
  18. Yep, house cat, could be feral. Only one way to solve that problem.
  19. Hey, Id gladly deliver some carbon to either one of them.
  20. Davey Crockett is in the house everyone! Davey Crockett folks! ;D
  21. Forecast looks good to me, hopefully if it rains Friday, it will cause the deer to move more on Saturday. Monday is looking like it may be a wash and I might just cancel my day off and go to work instead.
