I am an IT consultant and things have been both good and bad for us. Our largest client (construction company that we have a separate group for) has cut back so we let someone go and scaled their stuff back a bit, but for those of us that work on the other clients, its been pretty good. Lots of small to medium sized companies are now outsourcing their IT needs to us rather than hire full time staff to do it. A company rarely goes back once they make that switch. I do see the cuts in my construction clients though. One I deal with is down to a skeleton crew and most, if not all of their employees are down to part time hours. The stimulus crap was a waste, it just staved off the inevitable and will end up making it worse when the real downturn happens. JMO

Are you serious? Wheres that "Im the greatest hunter" thread? This belongs in it. :

I have a 10x10x6 galvanized dog kennel that I no longer need. Its not in perfect shape, but its not rusty or mangled, only 3 years old. One corner has some chain link to be straightened out but would only take a few minutes to fix. We have had our dogs out in it and neither has escaped lol. We do not use it at our new place. These go for $279 new, Im asking $200 or best. Ill try and get some pics if needed.

High Tor, Rattlesnake Hill, Coyle Hill (not far out of Reg) to name a few. Look at topo maps of the areas on the DEC interactive mapper... http://www.dec.ny.gov/outdoor/45415.html

New here! Question about shotgun scopes!
WNYBuckHunter replied to blackradio's topic in Guns and Rifles and Discussions
Im sorry, mine is the 1.75 - 4 x 32 on my shotgun. I got confused with another scope I have. This is my shotgun scope... http://www.bushnell.com/products/scopes/riflescopes/banner/711436/ -
I cant concentrate on anything at this point. I need to go check my trailcam tomorrow and put my lifeline up. This moving crap has really screwed me up. I was at Wally world tonight and looked for those scent wafers, but all they had were doe esterous, they were out of fresh earth.

Trail Camera Pictures October 10th 2010
WNYBuckHunter replied to burmjohn's topic in Trail Camera Pictures
Great pics John! I hope to see one of those bucks on the ground by next week! -
I know a guy that has boxes of 140s and 150s that he never had mounted. What he did have mounted are all 150s and up. He also had one record book deer, he just doesnt flaunt it. Those deer are around, you have to get lucky and put your time in.

New here! Question about shotgun scopes!
WNYBuckHunter replied to blackradio's topic in Guns and Rifles and Discussions
Thats just a little too high powered for a shotgun IMO. I have the 1.5 - 4.5 x 32 Bushnell Banner on my slug gun. Really all you need. I also use an iron sighted barrel and a look under scope mount for up close shots. Just my 2 cents -
The answer to that would be because I just dont give a rat's behind what people that would pigeon hole me (based upon what I wear) think of me.

Thats funny ;D

Well said Doc. I think some of you guys are taking the camo thing and looking way too far into it. I have a few hunting related shirts and hats that I wear regularly. I also have a few pair of camo (not realtree, old style camo) shorts that I wear during the summer. Whats wrong with that? Nobody that I know of looks at me any differently because of it, and if they do, they can think what they want, I dont care. Anyone that knows me in the least knows Im a hunter. Its what im into and what I enjoy and I will never be ashamed of it. Doc hit the nail on the head with it, it sounds as if some of you are ashamed to be hunters just because the majority of the public are not. BTW, I dont normally go out in full camo unless you count stopping at the gas station or something on my way.

Blonde Phase Coyote? Feral Dog? Coy-Dog?
WNYBuckHunter replied to dpsurf's topic in Trail Camera Pictures
Hmmmm, you post trail cam pics with a mineral lick in them on a NY based forum, people say something about it without flaming you at all and you get all defensive and say you arent going to post here anymore? -
That thing is a beast! I think Id fall out of my stand before I could shoot it! ???
-
WHOA.... you're givin' up on the .260? ??? No way! Why would I give up on my tack driver? I can interchange them with like 3 screws anytime I want. I just want to get out for that last week. I have also run across 2 people that wouldnt let me hunt because I shoot that gun. They dont like the idea of a rifle round I guess.

Good spot javelin. I hope this trailcam isnt located in NY, because the owner is breaking the law. Those screw on licks are baiting and illegal any time of the year. -
I wash my towels and washcloths in scent free and they stay separate from the other ones.

Its an Encore barrel, not the Pro-Hunter. It comes with the forend, which I need anyway because mine is currently in pistol configuration. He wasnts a good price for the forend, barrel and a Bushnell scope on top. Ill just have to get a stock. I dont mind a gun thats a little on the heavy side. A little less recoil and better accuracy.
