Just finished discing, took 8 full passes using a few settings to smooth everything out. Taking a break for a bit then spreading fertilizer and a quick last pass with the disc. Haley wants to help plant, so I’ll wait till she comes home later to do that. -

Looks great! I still Have to disc, spread fert, disc again, plant and then drag. Next year I’ll use the tiller. Not many rocks here. -

Yeah it didn’t do too bad. Only went through 5 shear pins. Not bad for never broke ground. The ground is actually quite a bit wetter than I thought It would be, so I’m letting it sit tonight and then I’ll disc tomorrow morning. Not a ton of rocks but I’ll do some picking before I start With the disc. What rocks there are, are pretty big. Don’t want to bust up my buddy’s equipment. -

WNYBuckHunter replied to Robhuntandfish's topic in Trail Camera Pictures
I’ll preface this with saying that I cant Wait to move out of NY and go south to a free state, but I would rather live in WNY than downstate or near NYC any day of the week. -

I have so many good ones, its hard to pick. Just taking a quick look through some older ones though, I always liked this one. Came off of my least expensive cam, but its pretty good quality and the background looks nice. -
Where to Buy Soybeans and Peas Rochester
WNYBuckHunter replied to frank1e's topic in Land Management, Food Plots and QDM
Turners in Hemlock. Call them before you head down there, alot of the time they are sold out of seed at this time of the year. They will tell you when their next shipment will be in. If you have to wait for that, make sure to be there around the time it comes in, it goes fast. Lots of guys planting plots right now. I picked up all of my seed/fertilizer from them a couple of weeks ago. -

Sure. The parts you would get from a CNC can be made out of hardened materials though, unlike a printer. -

yes and a couple of other alloys. They still come out like pot metal. You wouldnt be able to use them for a barrel or anything like that. -
Larry, youre a Chive fan?

They still sell them some places. Just saw them in Florida last month.

Not really. Currently 3D metal printers use soft aluminum, the pieces come out like old school pot metal. The polymer pieces are probably more durable. -

Think of the movies Reeves has done. That guy has spent some time training with all types of guns. Ive seen footage of him on different shooting courses, the guy has some skills. -

Im not sure what there is to be skeptical about, there are more videos out there showing similar things. It is what it is. The problem with the whole situation though, is that the media is making it out like these are reusable guns that someone could commit mass murder with, and that they are completely undetectable. None of that is true. -

We arent talking about super high pressures here, were talking something like a 22lr coming out of a 2 or 3 inch barrel. -

Think what you will, but I could show anyone with basic computer skills how to do it in about 30 mins or less. -

Its not hardened steel, they use aluminum. It comes out like pot metal basically. Not very strong or durable.
