    Lots of action on my cameras today starting mid day after a super slow night last night and evening while I was out hunting of course. I'll be out tomorrow morning again.

    Had a good buck come out of neighbors corn with a doe into my woods. One side of his rack is whack due to injury on opposite rear leg. He didn't like calls. Probably knows he can't win a fight with his bad wheel.

    Got a couple more 8F today. Clerk said system had been down earlier but I had smooth sailing.

    Getting some chasing activities on my cameras this morning. Going to give it a shot this afternoon I think.

    I'm out in 8F. Feels silly as warm as it is but I figured it was better than sitting on the couch. Wind is squirrely. I hope it doesn't booger me up.

    Farmer may have picked those earlier hoping to get rid of them for juice apples but there is some much juice this year the movement is pretty slow. They may have needed the empty bins to finish their harvest.

    Just had a great encounter with a good buck. Couldn't get him to commit to coming in that last little bit.

    In for first sit of the season. Bumped a single deer right under stand. Hardly a breeze.

    The place I used to hunt in potter county PA had them bad. The deer were loaded with them in the more mature wingless version and if the weather was warm during the fall turkey season they would being flying into my beard. Creeped me the f out to where I wouldn't hunt if it was warm out.

    8F here and my cameras have been dead tonight after dark. I had a 2 yr old buck walking a few minutes after a doe earlier today though.

    He's begging for me to go out and get him. I just haven't had time to get out yet. The other fly in the ointment is I got a pic of a buck a few nights ago that is a true giant that I have had pics of since at least 2019. But he's like a ghost. I don't think I can hold out for him though he's to smart to come out at the wrong time. Here's more of the original deer in question.

    I've been getting a few daytime pics of this buck the last week or so. Looking for some other opinions on age guessing. I'm trying to talk myself into him being a 3 yr old. The area is 8F lots of agriculture.

    Same on my cams for last 48. Had been getting a few nice bucks before that.

    Same for me. I had a couple decent bucks over a month ago then nothing. Now last few nights a couple good ones around with one nice one under an apple tree at lunch time today.

    The deer on my place won't touch any type of brassica. There's way to much other food in the way of apples, corn and soybeans.
