    I'm in Wayne county and hope they don't ditch the new late season.

    It will be a true miracle if I see any deer this afternoon. I've got my 13 and 8 yr old boys with me in my blind. It's the 8 yr olds first time and to say he's a chatterbox is an understatement!

    The critter jumping looks like a coyote to me. Can't tell about the other one.

    I got a doe this morning about an hour after I shot at a coyote. I went back to my house and grabbed my younger helper to help me track her. Turns out we didn't have to track to much. She basically jumped into my corn foodplot and died about 8 yards from where I shot her but I couldn't tell that from where I was when I shot.

    I just took a long shot at a coyote. I don't think I hit him but I'll check it out later. Hopefully I didn't mess up my deer hunting too bad.

    My son and I are out in a blind for the afternoon. Last time we went out I tried talking him into shooting a 5 pointer but he doesn't think he's ready yet. We'll see what happens today. Hopefully at least a doe shows up that I can shoot if he doesn't want to.

    Me and my buddy are in at my place. He had a doe and fawn go by at 7. I had a small buck hang around for a while at 7:30. Getting pics of deer heading into my corn field that was cut yesterday but the wind is no good to sit over there this morning.

    And now I remember why I don't hunt here much. A guy just came in and sat down below me 200 yards away looking straight up the hill at me to watch my hillside.

    I'm in hunting a different property today that I usually don't hunt till muzzleloader season. There is a large grain farm that borders it and let's most anyone hunt and there are cars parked all over from other hunters. I hope they push me something! So far all I've seen is 5 squirrels.

    Does anyone know of a supplier that will ship primers to NY or if its even legal? Ive ordered some ammo online but not anything else. This past Friday I visited with my uncle that does a bunch of reloading and he asked me to see if I could find any for him. Thanks

    Didn't see any deer tonight or hear any shots. Hoping for a little snow in the morning.

    I have same thing going on. Yesterday was the first time I shot a rifle with a muzzle brake on it without earplugs.... Holy smokes was it loud! I won't shoot another doe with that gun without earplugs in, for a good buck I can hack it.

    I got a doe in 8F this afternoon. Yesterday I was holding out for horns. Today was for meat.

    Finally put my eyeballs on the piebald fawn I've been getting pics of all fall. He's a runt compared to his brother.

    One of my neighbors is combining his corn adjacent to my property. Hopefully he kicks me out some deer!

    I've had 2 neighbors shoot so far by me in 8F. I had a buck close by but it was to dark to tell if he was one I wanted to shoot or not.

    I'll be shooting a rifle I bought last year and carried and never got to pull the trigger on. A savage 110 in 6.5 prc. Hopefully this year I get to try it out.
