  1. As a citizen of the United States , he could still be arrested , though , for crimes committed prior to , and during his term in office . Considering this , and knowing that the Democrats are fully cognizant of their prerogative to bring charges as well , I think that it’s reasonable to assume That they declined due to flimsy evidence , or , none at all .
  2. Yeah , I just saw this on the news , 2800 to be exact and the sec of state of GA Is refusing to certify anything now and wants to delve deeper into this
  3. I’m gonna dig out my can , Then , and give it another shot , wth. One thing I never liked about it is, sometimes it would go off a little bit as I was walking , from leg move meant, I guess .
  4. My Grandfathers 1960s vintage 300 Savage !!
  5. I never bothered with the scent free detergent but bought a bottle this year and will wash hunting clothes w that. Also , although I don’t know how much it helps ( it may ) , I spray down my clothes , coat , hat , gloves , etc with scent free . The way I figure it , it can’t hurt even if it doesn’t help !! I think the biggest thing is scent control while you’re in stand , actually . I try not to eat too much night before so I don’t have to take a dump while sitting , or fart incessantly ( lol , not tryin to be disgusting , just part of reality !) while there . Also , no coffee in the am and fresh breath and teeth ( read somewhere they smell you’re breath more than anything ). Also , watch what you bring in to snack on during your sit . No chips !! Too noisy . Jerky ? I do bring that cuz it’s great energy for a full day sit but can they smell it ?
  6. Great quote , I like it !! Finding public land with no trails not a bad idea But , may not be realistic for guys in metro areas ; they’d have to come upstate. This isDoable , of course, but probably more of a weekend event rather than just part of the day on a Saturday, for example .
  7. Really ,Very cool ! great example btw , when The can would be useful during rifle and , I can see that it would have utility in a scenario like that. There’s a couple heavy thickets and swamps You can’t easily get into it , but , could feasibly setup on the edge and attempt to call them towards you . Great idea , thanks
  8. Man , I sure hope you guys are right ; and , even if you are right now , what will it be like in 30 years ? I’ve thought a lot about this , and , I’m thinking that eventually , they ( ie , the State) will have to designate certain tracts as “ Hunting Only” so that hiking isn’t allowed and vice versa in other tracts . There’s getting to be more and more hikers and some are anti hunting and they will ( and probably do already) complain. Eventually , someone’s gonna get hurt and it’s gonna come to the forefront and state govt will address it ( I sure hope I’m wrong but afraid that I’m right on this )
  9. It’s kind of like that at Sterling too from what I’ve found , depending where you go . Don’t even bother going anywhere near cuz it’s loaded with people on those trails . Maybe it’s feasible with bow but no way during rifle , not a chance .
  10. Cool , ever use the doe bleats can ? Wondering if that works too
  11. Wow , that is the future for upstate , I’m afraid ; sorry that happened
  12. I like you’re strategy ; do you worry about moving , though , during rifle season , especially opening weekend ?
  13. Screw in step huh , great idea ! I have a few extra and will do that , thanks
  14. I could be wrong , but I think That maybe Phantoms point Is that the person should not get the job BECAUSE they’re a transgender and just for political reasons and appeasement of supposed oppressed groups . If he ( or she ) is qualified . I certainly have No problem with it and welcome diversity in positions of authority , as long as said appts are made irrespective of race , creed , sexual orientation etc. and not BECAUSE of them. There is a difference and it is significant .
  15. With tremendous hunting pressure , such like we’ll see come Saturday morning , I think all bets are off and that becomes THE most improved factor determining deer movement . I like to setup in areas where I know other hunters enter Enmasse and , in particular , will look for thick cover such as evergreens , briar patch’s and swamps . The deer come to know The places hunters don’t like to go and quite often , that’s where they’ll be , at least till the pressure subsided a bit .
  16. Yeah , I would wait and see for a bit and assume he’s just giving you good honest Well intentioned advice But keep checking your pics in there , of course . If it’s too good to be true and you’re striking out , the. Give it a shot but not until you give outside the orchard but adjacent a solid chance . There’s no rush now cuz hey, you own it !!
  17. Ok , yes , I’m gonna do that too to make sure they don’t drag on grass and branches walking in . I don’t think my seat adjusts but when I set it , it feels ok so I’m gonna leave it alone for now .Also, How do you pack your ancillary supplies in ? I think my normal back pack will be too cumbersome with the climber so I bought one of those little girly fanny packs for snacks , tree strap and Ratchet
