Has anyone foam filled there own tires? Did it work, hold up ok? I've got a 4 wheeled wheel barrow that I've put tubes in 2 yrs in a row, and now this set is shot.

Past few days I've been seeing lone hens quite a bit. Definitely laying. Don't think there setting in my area yet, but it's not going to be long.

Your dog took those out, with no help from you? That's one bad ass dog. I recommend Turkerfeathers not wear his bunny suit if he ever comes to visit.
-
Are you sure you shot the fox???
-
Holy crap. That's a huge run. I had a redtail hawk bounce off my run a couple times. I can imagine they were like WTF... Lol.
-
I see tracks around my coop(when we have snow) all the time. They've tried digging in, but the hardware cloth apron stops them fast. If I see them, a .17 to the head work well.

I'm a early season guy. Lawn care really ramps up, and I just can't get out as often. But I love late season if I've got the time.

Lol. Nothing besides a bear is getting in my coop or run. Run is totally covered in hardware cloth, and I've got a 20" hardware cloth apron around the whole thing to stop digging predators. Don't have a finished pic, but this is close..

Depends. My feeder and waterer lasts 3 days, 8 brids. Clean the coop once a month. Give them grass clippings, or scratch grains every other day. Biggest issue is predators. Building a coop and run that is predator proof is a pain in the butt.

Crappy is eating good. Much bigger than the other. And your cat looks like he's saying... Go ahead, go in the kitchen, I'll watch the little ones. Lol

Quite common. She's got a nice one too.

Those are perfect... Pick away. And they are in a small clump.

I'd seriously consider a 20g for turkeys, but I have a Remington 1187 NWTF 12g. Don't hunt anything else with a scatter gun, so I really don't have a need for another one.

He's got my vote. Heck, I'd vote for a dead skunk before I voted for king Andy.

I see sunshine. None here and it's 41°. Much bigger fire pit needed to keep warm.
-
Lol. I see people snapping pics every time I'm in there.
-
I'm assuming since they were mean, you didn't get too cozy with em. Ever get tangled up with one?

What were the Rhea's breed for?

Nobody.... He's the best member we've got. Who's going to be the first to change their username so they can claim that title. Lol

Snowing here for the past couple hrs. It's melting as fast as it hits. Temps supposed to drop. Forecasting 4-8".

Some do it for the variety of the egg color. Easter eggers usually have a blue to blue green egg. Olive eggers will have a greenish egg. Other breeds will have different shades of white to brown eggs. Some have mixed flocks because they like different looking chickens. Some breeds are better rent payers, some better for raising chicks.

It's just my wife and I, so we definitely have a surplus during the spring, summer. During the winter, they definitely slow down with the rent payments.
