Most geese have already hatched out couple weeks ago in my area.

Seems like there's a lot more to this story. If a dog is attacking my family or pets, chickens, it's heading back to it's owners feet first.

How many will leave NY in 2021 ?

Crap. I SOOOO want to go out tomorrow morning. Was hoping to get Aaron his second bird. Happens every year. Client needs me to get something done yesterday, or I need to make sure what client wants done is done to their specks. So 4.5 yrds of concrete is coming tomorrow morning at 8:30. Client wants me there to make sure it's done to his specs, even though I recommend the contractor, and trust him completely. Hopefully I can get Aaron out on Sunday. Good luck those going out tomorrow morning. Birds should be coming in fast and hot. If not sit tight they will be looking for the sweet talking gal (hunter) later in the morning.

A grouse drums by flapping it's wings, a tom does it by producing a gutteral sound. Most of the time they make a "spit" sound before drumming.

Beautiful job and buck.

Congrats Cynthia. Nice bird. Glad you stuck with it and didn't get discouraged. Bill, nothing better than helping someone else get there first turkey. A tip of the hat to you for giving your time so Cynthia could have this moment.

It's been so cold with a lot of frost and some snow, I'm having to skip most of the lawns I mowed last week. They just didn't grow. I was sure I'd be mowing full swing around April 15th this yr. Definitely got fooled.

You just have to space the fun out over several weeks. Or get a lead sled.

Definitely can't tell from your pic, but I've had tom's stay on roost for hrs after normal fly down, and not utter a peep.

Bully's!!!!!

You'll meet again on the Rainbow bridge. Sorry to hear about Dunkin. Pets are far more than pets, they are family.

Looking like the grey one has caught up size wise.

Been thinking about getting one. Client has some serious overgrown garden areas she wants cleaned out. So I figured I'd get one and see if they actually work. Happened to have a ugly looking area at my place to try it out on. This spot took me all of 8 minutes to get rid of. Lots of vines, and thorns in there.

My dad was the same way. -
Playing with different chokes and loads is fun, but expensive. I was able to try a few different ones as buddies of mine had same shotgun. I either have a Primos jellyhead or a Drury outdoors mad Maxx. Ones in my 1187, and the other is in my late nephew's 870. Don't remember which is which. Bought em in the early '90s.

What's your pattern like at 30, 40 yrds? If you like what you see, don't change anything.

Moog, haven't seen any rainbow in my neck of the woods, but if the good Lord wanted me to see one I would have. And I did. A double at that. I can only think that it's a sign of hope for you and your family. The good Lord has plans for each and every one of us... Let's hope you're wife's plans are to keep your family together.

Usually this time of year the heat is off and the bedroom windows are open offering the most relaxing sleep since the fall. Nope..... Heat on and two blankets and a comforter keeping my scrawny old ass warm.
