See bearded hens rather frequently. Here one last yr at my cousin's farm. Just talked to him today, and she's back raiding the ducks and chickens feed.

I scout in the evening frequently before the season to get a idea where they roost. I've hunted the same property for almost 30 years, so I know the usual areas. However, sometimes they shift there roosting habits from yr to yr. Might only be 50 yrds to a different tree, or a few hundred yrds, but I like to know the limb his feet are wrapped around, if possible. Boots are a personal preference. I need alot of ankle support, so I like lace up boots. A vest is nice. Keeps things organized. You backside will like the attached butt pad. I like using a folding seat with a back to it that's low to the ground. It's fantastic... If I had to describe it, it has a milder taste then beef, but, well sweeter??? Hard to describe. I like my moose burgers rare to med rare. Frying pan with some butter. Sliced onion is optional, but highly recommend.

Plenty of venison. Some moose for my cousin's Maine hunt. Salmon and trout from Maine ice fishing trip. Several briskets ranging from 5- 20lbs. Pork buts, ribs, and other goodies for the smoker.

We go to Sam's probably 3-4 times a yr. Stock up on paper goods, and some easy to store supplies. Freezer is full. Go to restaurant Depot and get chicken and other meats. Vac seal and in the deep freeze. I deer or turkey or two top off the freezer. Usually only go to the store for perishable goods on a regular basis.

As someone who has done hardscaping for a number of years, that is some nice looking work. I mainly did irregular bluestone patios and walkways. Too old and wore out to do that kind of work anymore.

I don't know a single family where the parents work different shifts. There's no way that's going to work.

Had some older lady come up to the house and ask to buy some eggs. Said stores are out, and she likes fresh better. Don't know how this person knew I have chickens. Can barely see my house from the road, and definitely can't see my coop. Never sold any, so not sure how she knew. Gave her a dozen.

My wife couldn't care if we run out of TP. She runs out of coffee, and I'm going to self contain. I can't stand the swill. More concerned for my safety if she runs out then the virus itself.

Schools in my area just closed for 2 weeks. All activities cancelled. Doesn't affect me, as the stepbrat is on her own. Buddies are trying to figure out schedules for their kids.

How large is your lawn? Might be worth renting a toro dingo with a harley rake. It will level out and the area while mixing the new top(if adding) with the current soil. Makes a nice smooth seed bed.
