  1. My wife will not let me go grocery shopping with her. I complain constantly. She has to read every label. I mean the label hasn't changed since last week, so why read it again??? Checks the unit price on multiple items/brands to see which one will save a nickel. Then she talks to everyone, especially if their looking at the same item. Drives me nuts.
  2. Kicking myself in the ass. Multiple times, for selling that pistol... Had a TC hunter package in 7x30 waters back in the day. Took 4 deer with that pistol. Farthest was 170 yrds. Thing was far more accurate than I was capable of.
  3. Concerned about the reasonably priced x bow cases not protecting my xbow during air travel. I've read some are breaking down there xbows and putting them in a gun case. How difficult are they to break down? PSE fang currently, but looking to upgrade. Not too worried about it holding zero, as I'll check and adjust as needed. Anyone have issues with traditional xbow cases and airlines?
  4. Someone loves goldens and has way too much money.
  5. Love pink Floyd. Just sick of his political BS, and he doesn't live in our country.
  6. This system will be at my house. My shop is 80' from the house. I've got deer cams out, but they rarely catch a plate# as vehicles are traveling to fast. I've moved them several times and tested in my own vehicle. Just not dependable. I've already thought about camera placement. One of the systems I'm looking into has adjustable zoom cams I can adjust to the area I want covered. A 4 cam system will be enough, but a 6 cam system would give me a couple different angles.
  7. I'm cleaning up the shop. It's a mess. Decent enough out that I can put everything outside while I rearranged a clean up. BTW... How's tweety doing?
  8. Great info. I was Leary of night owl, and believe in you get what you pay for. Lorex seems like the best option for the money, unless I jump into the business class of systems which are way more than I can afford.
  9. I found a 6 cam system on Lorex website with -22° rating. It's definitely more expensive, but the night range in impressive at 250'. Most cameras are 130' or under. Of course that's under ideal conditions.
  10. Researching PoE 4k systems. However, most cameras have a -4° temp rating. I called Lorax and Night Owl. Lorax told me the camera would be damaged if temps get lower than -4°. Night Owl said it's only a guide line. So, those with a security system, were your cams damaged if temps went below the rated temps?
  11. X2. No way in hell would I have let those kids into my home. I feel bad for the kids, but safety of your family comes first.
  12. Not bad. Description says weather resistant. Last trip I took in October my gear bag and contents got soaked in the back of the truck despite my tonneau cover.
  13. Need a good, not overly expensive, gear bag. Definitely want waterproof, as I often put my bags in the bed of the truck, or in a jet sled for a 12 mile snowmobile ride to my buddies camp. Want it large enough for my cold weather gear, boots as well as every day clothes. I've been looking at the round dry bags, but not sure how much I can cram into those, or if boots will fit. Looked at the Cabela's bag, but the latest 2 reviews are horrible. Not sure if the quality since bass pro took over has suffered. So what's everyone using, recommend?
  14. Cool pic. Had one attack my truck yrs ago. Was standing in the middle of a gravel road, and when I stopped, he strutted up to the tire and attacked.
  15. What are the typical colors? I'll go out on a limb, pun intended, and say tweetie will be yellow.
  16. Keep posting pics as tweetie gets older. Any guess on what color he/she might be?
  17. Poor thing looks cold. I'd call it Pinkie.
  18. Sorry to hear about big Bill, Otto.
  19. Ya, lot of the footage was manufactured for the drama effect. I was surprised they actually showed the shot on the village raiding bear.
  20. Howdy. Enjoy the craziness.
  21. The most dangerous hunt I'll do is a hungry squirrel after my nuts...
