  1. Congrats to you FIL. If my bird had some nice hooks, I was thinking of having you mount him. Maybe tomorrow.
  2. Got set up at 4:55. Made a couple soft tree yelps at 5:16, and a tom answered about 60 yrds behind me. Couple hear others gobbling below him, and some I couldn't tell where they were they were roosted because of the wind. Apparently two were roosted on the other side of the field as they came running in. They ended up behind a huge oak that was only 5 feet in front of me. They stayed behind that tree for 5 minutes gobbling, spitting and drumming only 12 yrds from me, but I couldn't see them. Finally one took a couple steps to the left. After the shot the 2nd tom pounced on him and thrashed him for about 30 seconds. I managed to finally get my phone out and got a video of him as he was waking away, gobbling like crazy. Typical 2yr old. 21lbs, 3/4" spurs, 10.5" beard. Pic is where he flopped, and got a thrashing from his buddy.
  3. Nice hook on that bird TF. Congrats to you, mlammaehirt and reeltime
  4. Of course not. But I know a few that have.
  5. Just let the fur bags out for a last pinch. Wind was stupid. Hopefully it subsidies like the weatherman says by 6 AM tomorrow.
  6. Drove past my spot around 7pm. Two toms in strut following a hen in the direction they usually roost. Good luck everyone. Looking forward to success pics.
  7. Maybe, but restaurants have to abide, or risk someone calling the the hot line and turn them in. It's not like it hasn't happened.
  8. Nothing to do with what yr it is, it's about how useless the 75% is to most restaurants. They still have to have tables 6' apart. No way they can fit 75% capacity with those guidelines.
  9. So sorry to hear about Buddy. They give so much, and ask for so little.
  10. Interesting. NYS website still states 75% with 6' table spacing.
  11. Doesn't help most places. Still have to stay 6' apart. No way can't the get 75% capacity while adhering to the 6' rule.
  12. Finally sighted in my Burris FFIII today. I like it. Used field loads at 10 yards to get it close, then backed up 20yrds to dial it in. Took two shots with my hunting loads to confirm. Good to go out to 40. Wanted to scout tonight, but its raining hard. Hopefully tomorrow will be better, although it's supposed to be very windy.
  13. Good luck with the walk through, grampy.
  14. Auto correct, and a couple rum & cokes are to blame, lol.
  15. And I don't fault you or anyone else that decides it's in there best interest. What I hate is the pro vacation, bashing those that don't want it.
  16. Sorry, but its still useless, even if you have to comply.
  17. Looks fantastic, but this is a rear entrance. If I did that, I'd have to mimic that to the side and front entrance.
  18. Lol, I've raised my nephew in my tractor bucket to get higher.
  19. Same saw as Bionic. Probably had it for for 10 yrs. Extended, it gets rather heavy, but cuts very quick with the nicro chain.
  20. I've had my stihl power pruner for probably 10 yrs. Extended, it gets rather heavy, but cuts very quick with the nicro chain.
  21. Love the first pic.. I'd be tempted to build a screen room off that slider, but it would be small. Maybe 10x12. I've got a stamped concrete patio in a "L" shape that's about 375sf. Our plans next yr is to build a 12x16 pavilion on that patio, and to make a screen room on the deck that's to the right of the slider.
