Got in close the afternoon before. New the area they rooster. Wanted to know the limb his feet were wrapped around. Got in place the next morning within 75 yards of the tom. Didn't call until I could see his feet leaving the limb. I call aggressive as he's flying down. Sometimes he will pitch in to my setup. Killed many a boss tom as he landed in my setup. No deeks, no calling until he leaves the limb. Then a aggressive fly down cackle. Not a traditional method, but its worked for me several times.

I like it. We like to watch the pup for a few days. Sometimes a name finds it's way to the pup, lol. Make sure to post pics of the new family member when she arrives.
-
That's a title I'm glad my area didn't win, lol.

We've got a yellow lab named Stella.
-
Congrats on the new pup. What names have you come up with?

What’s the best place to sell a used truck ?

Good luck finding one. Some cab and chassis, or upper level rigs, but in my area there's no WT or LT. -
She definitely has experience. Lol

Putts? One call you definitely don't want to use unless you don't like seeing turkeys.

I get more enjoyment from helping new hunters, then shooting the biggest tom I've ever seen.
-
Well, I'm in northern Columbia County in Old Chatham. If your willing, I'll take you out on opening day, but your about 4 hrs out.
-
I've got the same chair. Very comfortable, but bulky and heavy IMO. I bought a vest from Dicks a few yrs ago when I know I'm only have a hr or so to hunt. The butt pad is very helpful.

Luberhill, where are you located? I'd be happy to take you out hunting.
-
I've never shot one. My 1187 NWTF does just fine as long as I do mine.

They lost me and several of my friends because of their idioc stance on crossbows.

Looks like a opossum.

I checked. My neices husband works at Costco in Michigan, so I was thinking employee discount, lol

I had one yrs ago. I can make diaphragm calls sound great. A wing bone call sounds like a hen that choked on a wing bone, lol. Can't make one sound better then the diaphragm call, which really tickes me off.

And did you believe it? .. You can believe this or not... called in a boss tom for a buddy that was archery only. Tom died. Subordinate toms attacked the dead "boss", then started fighting amongst themselves to determine "who was boss. Hens all around. Within a few minutes a Jake mounted several hens as the 4 Subordinate tom's tried to figure it out who was the dominant tom. This isn't the only time I've witnessed this. Might be a eastern high density area? Not sure. My area has been over populated for 15+ years. No shortage of 2+ yr olds. Sure there's been a yr or two that the hatch was low, but I really can't pinpoint a yr or two that my area was lacking in mature birds.
-
Were good. If a hen let's a lesser tom mount it, she's gonna let him do his deed, lol.
-
No need to seen it enough with my own eyes.
-
You sad a hen will not breed with another tom until the pecking order has been reestablished. That's just plain wrong.
-
What do you do with them? When I was a kid, my dad would take us kids to the park and give us a garbage bag and tell us to fill it with dandelions. He made wine. I mow every dandelion down with a smile on my face, lol.

Wife and I have been looking for patio set. Couch, loveseat, couple chairs. The cost of this stuff is crazy. Some stuff is as high as decent living room furniture. Ya, wayfair, Amazon, HD have some cheaper stuff, but its definitely not quality stuff.

Wow, what a idiot. Actually tried to rationalize his actions by saying you have no idea how much of a bitch she was. Mom didn’t say anything because he most likely treats her the same way. Sad.
