Ide love to hunt the ADK but i have a hard enough time getting away for a full day let alone a couple. Some day ill do it.

Theres been alot if talk on here of people saying they mainly still hunt,spot and stalk people asking about it. I do this as well not alot though. But whats your gear look like?how many miles do you average a day? Ect? Maybe someones doing something that others may not know about or thought about that may help them. I use an my single shot chambered in 30-06 light quick on target and short may bring the 20gauge open sights this year. Usually dressed pretty light just because i sweat so quick. Only extra gear i bring is a grunt call,drag rope,binocs,extra shells, headlamp,water,snacks and fire starters they all fit in my pack with ease. I can usually average 3-5miles a day depending on the stateland im on. Hoping i can pick up some new info from this.

Well nadda again i think i just missed them by a little bit. Could see where they had walked and a buck tore up a bunch of trees. Plus the scrape i walked by was pretty strong so im guessing it got hit recently. Oh well thats it until friday morning.

Just asking if youve still hunted up there. Im down in 7m/7p and theres woods here you could get away with it. I still hunt with my gun quite a bit and so doesnt my other buddy.

Have you tried Adk? I no in my area theres some very large tracks of public. Some a couple thousand acres.

Ill hopefully be dark to dark this weekend. My standards will drop on what i will take by sunday being at the end of the season. Ide be happier with a spike then a tag in my pocket. My best weekend is always around my grandmas bday which is the 7th. Ive taken 3 deer on it and actually my first 2 bow kills were on her bday. She kicked me out of the house during her partys telling me i wont kill them sitting with her.

Wasnt live from the woods but my truck. My wifes friends celebration of life was today. Well the 2yr old had enough after 3hrs and since i was 10mins from my lease figured lets go take a look into the meadow. Pulling up i see a big buck entering the block of timber that buts up next to it. Get to the meadow i see see a deer bedded. Put binos on him yep the one 7 i wouldnt mind taking look past him and theres a massive doe bedded on the hedge row. So they are there cant wait for my 4 day weekend coming up. Only problem when i got done talking to the owners of the property and left. The farmer had 5 guys getting ready to push the block of timber that big buck went into. Picture of the 7 and what i believe was the big buck.(just a guess have pics of 2 big 8s but he looked like the one in the pic). Congrats to all this weekend.

Congrats to all those the filled tags alot of nice ones fell. Only had 4 turkeys but sat only 2 hrs wifes bday weekend so no hunting until monday morning.

Heading out soon. Going biz style from the ground in a little orchard. Ive caught alot of bucks over the years in it. Just up close and personal farthest shot will be 20 yards.
